I'm gonna say the new one because the sound acoustics and quality sound better and the resolution in the picture is better  and the plot has changed some which only added to its overall appeal.

I'm going to have to go with the remake, even know I like Bruce from the original. The new one is more of a gory serious horror movie and I seen it in theaters, it rocked! The old one is more of a humorous horror series, just wasn't a big fan, they had a game out for it also, I don't remember what system but it sucked also. They are in the process of making a new game with Bruce Campbell in it, and from the screenshots I have seen, it looks sweet!
