Interesting results...some of you kinda took my "READ THE QUESTION" warning a little bit too seriously and thought that I was trying to trick people. I was only warning people because some people did not read the question correctly. Light Knight took nearly a minute to answer the question and that cost him the lead and Surgiac is back on top. They are head to head right now though so anything can happen for the next two weeks. However, my warning didn't help everyone...pray75 might have answered the question too quickly and forgot to add 100 to his answer. mrfe answered quickly (as usual) and correctly, which allowed him to take over the 4th spot once again. Looks like these two will be going head to head as well.



I would like to remind everyone that today marks the beginning of two things: 1) Double points for each question and 2) the "Sling" weapon. In order to catch up to the correct day with the correct answer, I have two questions for you all! Get them I will leave them open for two days while putting question 17 tomorrow for 1 day. Then everything will be back to normal. Hopefully this doesn't get confusing.

15. Sometimes it's really interesting how the Bible uses numbers when it was written. You may not catch this, but sometimes events or sayings have a significant number or repetition at a number of times purposefully because of the meaning that it conveys when doing so. Some of the more prominent numbers that were being used are 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 12, 30, 40, etc. Let's see how many significant numbers do you remember from the Bible.

For the sake of our quiz, I will only use 5 numbers as choices: 3, 5, 7, 12, 40. For these 12 questions, pick the right number for specific situation from the Bible. (For example, the question might say "the number of loaves in the beginning when Jesus fed the 5000" and the answer is 5. Now that I used this example, you KNOW that this won't be in the quiz ). Since this is the first question that doubles the points. Each question is worth 10 points (and -10 points if you get it wrong). I will give you 4 minutes to finish this and the remaining time divided by 2 will be your bonus points. Each question is on their own page, so when you submit each answer, you CANNOT turn back.

16. I would like to take this time to ask everyone to continue to pray for what happened in Boston. It is a heart-breaking situation and it is hitting close to home for me. It is definitely shaking up the community and the mood has been very gloomy. As I continue to pray to God about what has happened, I am reminded that God is still in control and that even when evil men do evil things to others, God can still use this for His good and His glory. We are also reminded by how we Christians who are redeemed are given eternal life because of our faith and trust in Jesus Christ for what He for our sins.

I got back from a long, hard day of work. It was productive, but I feel, smell, and taste absolutely disgusting, and I'm about to hit the shower, but I'll post the results for all of you as well as the answers. I am making Day 18 to have TWO questions so we get to get back on track. So TWO questions are due by the end of Day 18, and considering that the points have been doubled, you want to do a good job on both of them.

These past two days, Surgiac became the definition of perfection, as she was the only one that got both days 100% correct. Light Knight was close to perfect, but Surgiac is starting to run away from the crowd. Singelli had a decent Day 15, but got Day 16 wrong while answering it correctly, and is now dangerously hanging onto third place, with mrfe and pray75 moving closer to her. Speaking of these two, mrfe made some mistakes in Day 15 while pray75 only got one question wrong. Because of this, pray75 has regained 4th, but they are still head to head. Not that far back is Eva, who has a strong two day performance and is less than 200 pts away from 4th and 5th place. thing1 is slowly moving up, but is going to have to make some strong performances to catch up.

Everyone is being nice so far, since no one used the sling yet. I can say that if the sling used against our top 3 competitors, Singelli and Light Knight might have suffered the consequences. Fortunately, no one made a move.....yet. Remember, you can only use the sling once, and if more than one person sling the same person at the same day, it would only count as one sling and one of their slings would be wasted. There is still a whole half month left. Anything can happen.

So, who said: "But as for you, you thought evil against me; but God meant it to good"? The answer is Joseph. Jacob, Joseph's father died, and Joseph's brothers were afraid that Joseph will use this opportunity to strike back at his brothers for selling him into slavery long ago, but Joseph reassured them by saying this statement, that even though what they did was evil, God was still able to use what was evil to bring good to Joseph and for God's glory. This is one of my favorite sayings in the Bible and it is worth remembering in your hearts.

What is the sling that are you are talking about? I know I saw you saying something about it earlier, when I searched out this thread to see where I was, but I could not figure out what it was. And have you made the question for today yet? and don't forget to change the title.

play4fun : Excellent! I felt pretty strongly about the first test and even more so about the second one. It's insane how well Surgiac does though, because she always has the best scores of each question. Keep up the good work!

thing1 : Go to the post that made in this thread on this time: 04-13-13 10:12 PM. It's basically an extra feature that can only be used once against someone and secretly force a restriction that the person must get 100% correct for a multiple choice question or more than 50% for all other questions, while doing so within half the allotted time. The sling can be activated by PMing me the name that you want to sling for a certain day. Read the post for more specific rules.
