I myself do not have real signature favorites. I do play the game, but usually for free for all battles. Royale or Teams, playing with characters from Mario, the swordsmen of the game, the pokemon involved, and just some other groups. Pikachu because he's my favorite character in video game history, he has some strong attacks and his speed is not too fast and not too slow. Jigglypuff in Melee because her roll out is really strong unlike Brawl. Her rest can mostly cause 1 a 1 hit ko and she's easy to use.

Metaknight, all the way. His move set is incredible, he can rack up damage like crazy, he has great finishing moves, and he can save himself from falling off a majority of the time. The only flaw is that he is too easy to play with. Unless you are playing level 7, 8, or 9 CPU's he crushes everyone. I'm fine with that though XD

I have only played Smash Bro. Brawl on the Wii, and I can honestly say that Ike is my top character(Though admitedly I'm a move spammer and use the up B down B down B combo. For those that don't understand, or if I goofed on my keys, its the up slash, down smash, then swing the sword around to the ground again for a flame explosion that usually sends the opponents off the side of the map at this time)

However, I can usually get in some hits with Link(Not Toon link) and sometimes play Falcon just for fun.

Mine changes for the two games I've played. I pretty much missed the entire GameCube era, so I haven't gotten to play Melee.

N64: Probably Kirby. Great recovery, and good moves too. Pikachu's good too.

Brawl: I like l Pikachu (even though he cheats), Kirby, and Toon Link. I like Toon Link better, but I still use normal Link since he looks so much cooler. Meta Knight is cool too, even though I can't seem to get his attacks off as easily. Really, I'm fine using most characters in Brawl, besides the Star Fox people (don't know why people like them), and Gannondorf.

My favorite has to be either Fox or Diddy Kong. Fox's final smash is kind of lame in my opinion. But Diddy Kong's final smash is really cool and very effective! I also like how they made him shoot a peanut gun which I think references Donkey Kong 64!

I am with you on this one, Kirby is the best. He or She (I don't know lol) has a great moveset and a decent strength. Though Kirby is not my favourite nintendo character from the games, Kirby plays the best. I tend to spam the move where he turns into a brick by jumping up and using it. I have got bad at the game though, I have not played it for a long time!!
