Hey guys, what is the weirdest glitch you have ever found in a retro game? (Yes, I'm counting superman64 glitches too...)
please have a good description of the glitch and how to make it occur (unless it happens at random), have a screen shot and just how to make it occur, or a video. NOTE: Please keep videos under 20 minutes! Also, fan-made games and ROM-hacks are allowed.

This is in the wrong forum. This forum is about the retro game room, not just retro games.
EDIT: Okay, it has been moved.

tails the fox : True.

Global Mods : Any way you guys could move this to the Video Games forum?

Anyways, I've performed a pretty weird glitch in Super Mario World (you've probably already heard about it) that makes you invincible... And ride an invisible Yoshi. Watch this video if you wanna know how to do it and what it looks like riding an invisible Yoshi.

My theory of why this happens: The game is programmed to only allow 1 Yoshi on the screen, and if a 2nd one is created, it changes the sprite into a 1UP Mushroom. When you pick up 2 P-Switches at the same time and hit a Yoshi Block, 2 Yoshis come out. The reason why one of them isn't a 1UP Mushroom is the fact that they are spawned on the same frame, so the game isn't smart enough to fix it. So, one of them is invisible. Why? Because the game isn't programmed to have more than 1 Yoshi on the screen without turning one into a 1UP. So, basically, you just get the sprite's collision box, but not the sprite itself. The reason you're invincible? Yoshi has a collision box for jumping on, but no real hitbox, because the visible Yoshi already has one.

i was playing metroid fusion and while speed boosting, i tried to gather the momentum for a shine spark. but when i did, somehow i went through the wall and all i could see was the background. it was pretty weird, especially since i had to restart to fix it

Aether121 : You forgot a screen shot/video. Would you be able to attempt the glitch again with a video or screen shot, or is it completely random? If so, take a screen shot or record the glitch if you come across it again. Thanks

I don't really find much glitches but I did find a couple but my favorite glitch is the glitch in super mario bros 3 I believe that's the game at the end of word 1-2 you can go to world zero which is a water level I found that to be quite interesting.

The weirdest glitch I seen is the one in Donkey Kong Country, with the level Jungle Hijinxs when you're using the Steel Keg
and using Rambi the Rhino. The glitch is, um, really hard to explain, but you kinda get the idea on what I'm talking about.

The only glitch I found in my life can be seen here : http://tasvideos.org/1593M.html . However, since I did it with frame-by-frame advance, I don't know if it can work in real life.

The weirdest glitch I've found in a retro game is the backward long-jumping glitch in Super Mario 64. Here is a video of it:
