I want to know what is up with the new Pokémon that are out if you look at 1st,2nd,3rd and 4th Gen Pokémon and compare them to 5th and up the 5th Gen and up look dumb so I think that the people who make the Pokémon need to take a look back and really start making some new good Pokémon dose any one agree

Yeah I was hoping that they would be able to step it up but this was a big step down for pokemon if you look back at how gen 2 took the basics form gen 1 and etc. to now its just not even close to what pokemon fan expect hopefully they can get back on track form here on out.

 but any way to keep it going.
 I think they need to get more people to come up with new one's and be creative and not just look at a item a think well lets put a face on it and its a Pokémon.
 now granted they did make some ok one's but they really need to start weeding though the Pokémon and pick the best looking instead of taking every Pokémon idea out there.

I've begun to strictly play the earlier Pokémon games, up to Generation III. Generation I has my favorite starters and Generation III isn't that bad. The innovation of Pokémon creation has started to degrade, but you can't hold it against them. I can't even come up with one unique Pokémon design, nonetheless over 600.

New gen pokemon do look bad/silly, but there are some cool gen V pokemon, like Golurk.
Also, older gens had some bad/silly looking pokemon, like Muk and Grimer, it's just goo, or Ekans and Arbok, just snakes.
