This is my first review so be gentle I choose to do mother

Graphics 6
The Graphics in the game isn't its "strong point" but for the most part the over world is ok and the battle sprites are fine for nes game.
The sprites for npcs are sorta reused a lot and most of them looking very similar.the battle sprites are better some impressive others not so much. The overworld is giant and some parts of it is sorta misleading but I can deal with it.So not excellent but I'll take it.

Sound 8
It has a great sound track, my favorite being snowman , the themes are very original. Even town has its own theme and the only themes to be reused are the battle theme which makes the battle so appropriate like for weak enemies they may it sound like a causal encounter, for strong enemies they make it seem like you have to put effort in it. All the towns has its own beautiful theme.

Addictiveness 9
Very addictive like most RPGs, when you stop you think "no I want to get the next melody". There's a lot to do in it and you just want to get better and better at the game and you end up playing it for hours and then you forget why you were playing. There a big overworld, biggest in all three games and you just want to explore everything and find all of it secrets.

Story 8
Very good any original story, no games at the time came close to what Mother was about. It's not a "go through puzzles and dungeons and Marie new allies on the way" it's more than that, it tests your intelligence and make you problem solve instead of just giving you a few obstacles to go through. The story is touching too its some kids with different backgrounds coming together to save the world and that's awesome.

Depth 8
Trust me this overworld is HUGE biggest of all three games and it will take a while to find all the melodies since they don't help you. It does take sometime to finish it inhale to admit but it was still fun.the game doesn't give a wide variety of options but with a game like this you don't really need that much. There's plenty to do in the game, there's no side quests but with the story itself side things aren't really needed.

Difficulty 7
This game is hard when you first play it because it doesn't tell you where to get the melody and how you get it, all you have is your instinct, there no particular order in which you actually do something so there's the possibility that you may have skipped something and you don't notice it until the end, even then there still not much help. Unlike earthbound and mother 3 you go things in a specific order but with mother there no real order to play e game.

Overall 10 just because its original, I Love it, and I love the mother series too.

Not bad for a first review. Anyway in my opinion the graphics doesn't look that bad, and I did have a lot hard times with the game. Anyway Good review.
