They are basically the same thing, except the iPhone has the capability of making phone calls, but just barely.

I'd go with an iPod, they're 700 dollars cheaper and everything that they say will work does.

This has got to be one of the most pointless threads ever created.

Since iphone and ipod are basically the same thing, there's really no point in comparing them.

Obviously the iPhone is "better" just because it can do anything the ipod can do, and more because it can receive it's own connection to the internet independently.
