These are two completely different type of games but if I had to pick it would be final fantasy, I just grew up with it and I love the majority of the games storylines. Both have their pros and cons but I honestly see more pros with final fantasy. The fan base is usually better and less annoying as well.

This is like asking "What do you like better: Steak or soda?" It doesn't really make any sense to make this kind of comparison. Most people who are Final Fantasy fans don't play Call of Duty and most people who play Call of Duty don't play Final Fantasy... while there is some overlap, you're talking about two completely different fanbases that are going to be biased towards what they like and probably not appreciate that other side.

My pick is neither. I don't like any FPS games, much less generic ones like CoD. While I love RPGs, Final Fantasy is a series that is washed up and even when it was going strong, it never really had more than 1 or 2 games that were above average in my opinion. There are hundreds of other games that I would rather play than the latest in either series, but that's just me.

I'm a Final Fantasy Fanatic, and a die-hard RPG fan, so it was no question that I'd choose FF over CoD. However, I'm not bashing the series, either. Unlike most people, when I hear "Call of Duty", I think of the REAL CoDs, set in WWII, when the games were about war and the people who served in them. You guys remember when it was about showing the soldiers as they went into battle, letting you glimpse at how they must have acted and felt in the face of war? It was like watching 'Saving Private Ryan" to a lesser degree, but it still felt dramatic and meaningful. Anywazzit, I just wish people would remember what Call of Duty used to be like.

I agree with CrazyLi (and that's the second time tonight I've said that!) Comparing these two games doesn't make a lot of sense, but....I suppose, to answer the question, I'd choose Final Fantasy. Not that I have anything against CoD but FF is just more fun to me.
