I am wanting to download my save files from this site so I can continue game play whenever I am without Internet.

So far, I have tried clicking the "Save File Manager" link in the Retro Game Room, but all that I get is a pop-up box with text-only. The pop-up page only has instructions, but nothing that lets me get to my game files. There is this "Your Save RGR Plug in Save Files" faux link on the bottom, but doesn't do anything whenever I click it.

I have looked for any possible previous threads with this same topic, but had no luck finding anything. I have also looked through on Google, to see if anyone has posted about this elsewhere. Still no luck for me. Can somebody please help me with this? I know that there is a way to retrieve those save files from this website.

Also, does me being branded as a "Newbie" prevent me from getting to my save files? Thank you for any help in this thread!

Being a Newbie doesn't restrict gameplay. Only posting... If you use the RGR plug-in press F2. Then when you want to start there press F4... As for you other question I don't know how to help.

pinkusb : Yes I have often wondered about that save file manager, I think that it is an outdated feature that no longer works, because it also does not work for me.

I also have the solution to your problem!

When you save games on vizzed.com the saves are actually saved onto your computer. I'm not sure if it is the same on your operating system as on my own, but I have windows vista and for vista users I know the location of your saves is:

Start -> All programs -> Vizzed Retro Game Room -> Open Plugin Data Folder -> User-(user number)

The user number will be a set of random numbers assigned to you and then inside that folder is a bunch of folders representing the different gaming systems on vizzed. Just go to the system of the game save you are looking for then go to the save folder inside there and you will find your save in that folder.

The save file manager link can be helpful still for this because it tells you the different file extension names for the different saves, like if you save in game or use save states it will have a different file extension for each.

I'm not sure if the location is different on different operating systems but it should be similar, just try to find Vizzed Retro Game Room folder and then Open Plugin Data Folder,

Hope this helped and reply to this post if you need any more help.

LegolasJJH : Thank you for that help, it's a start... But, I am using Windows 7, and for some reason, there is no folder in the "Vizzed Retro Game room" folder. It's only files for the emulators to work, but no saved game files. -sigh- It has to be somewhere, if you are able to get to them. Maybe Windows 7 is more... secretive? Ugh! Well, thank you for your help! I really appreciate it, and now I am more confident that the save files are indeed somewhere on my computer.

That sounds like you're searching in the Program Files; you should see Open Plugin Data Folder:

If I'm mistaken, try going to Folder Options from Tools at the top of the folder and from the View tab select Show hidden files, folders, and drives. The files shouldn't be hidden though, so that's just a guess.

You could also open the Plugin Data Folder by going to C:ProgramDataVizzedVizzedRgrPluginUser-300490
