I hear one of the lead developers at Capcom is helping with Smash Bros Universe for the Wii U, and a Capcom character may even be playable!!! I was originally hoping for Mega Man, because that's my favorite gaming series, but then I realized. Viewtiful Joe. The most under appreciated Capcom game to date. The story was unique along with the gameplay, it was very challenging, and was a fresh new experience. Look this up, it's for the Gamecube, I strongly recommend you play it.

TrollStoneProduction : Id love to see Crono make an appearance in Super Smash Bros but he wasn't made by Nintendo or Capcom. If I had to choose out of a new Capcom character it would definitely be Megaman but if they do include him I hope also they add Zero as well. They'll be two great Capcom characters and I'd definitely use them.

I just hope they bring back mewtwo and stop having the online battles lag so much

What is capcom. I heard a lot about it. Anyway I would like to see Magnus from kid Icarus uprising and two or three final smashes per person.

I would like to see a better online mode, and some more custom track freedom when making a track. As far as characters go, Mega man would be awesome, with maybe Zero as a alternate color. I'd like to see more Pokémon trainer people, like Brandon with gen. III starters, Gold with Gen. II starters, and some I don't want Miis as characters! They are way overused, and make something like Mario Kart Wii boring, and looks like the same would happen with New Super Mario Bros. U.

patar4097 : Yeah, I never used online, and the Zero thing you said as actually a really neat idea! I would also like to see Ryu, since his game is about fighting and he is a Capcom character.

Leon from Resident Evil, Viewtiful Joe from Viewtiful Joe, or Ryu from Street Fighter. In order of how cool they would be, Leon being the coolest.

Honestly, I'd love to see some Mother Characters, especially Ninten.
There are Movesets that are absolutely perfect for him. And if you use Ness and Lucas, why not him?
And if it's true NO mother characters will make an appearance, I will slice Reggie in half with a chainsaw. He hates the Mother series, after all.

darthyoda : Ivysaur and charzard are there instead of charnel eon and Bulbasaur. I think it they should add more legendary or well known pokemon.

earthwarrior : The story was stupid, and didn't make any sense, but the only thing I cared about it for was that it's a good time waster, and I like the change of gameplay. Another thing is I think they might want to try to change the point system a little bit. Like, if I'm Mario, and Pikachu hits me, and then nobody hits me again for ten minutes, and I decide to walk off the screen, Pikachu would get a point. It just seems flawed in that way. And the final smashes should be weaker, because they often take out some of the fun.

TrollStoneProduction : Don't get your hopes up with third-party characters. It is confirmed that they are focusing more on the game-play itself.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl was perfect. Customization with the boards, soundtrack, characters, game-play, and story was simply stunning. I've heard online play was terrible though, which they can and need to fix.

I think adding to many third-party characters would ruin it. They need to balance their characters out. If there is going to be a lot of third party characters, then there should be a lot of Nintendo characters.

By the way, it would be awesome it is really going to be called Universe. If it is, there HAS to be third-party characters!

I would like to see Knuckles (Sonic) and Gyrahim (Skyward Sword), they would make interesting characters.

I think that a Stalfos for a new Zelda character would be awesome. It looks like the one from Skyward sword, but its special attacks are from other stalfos in the series.

What would I like to see fixed in the new game? Well...

- First of all, the characters NEED to be balanced. Now, of course, I'm not saying "make clones or give everyone the same traits", but if a character is lacking in a trait, they need to severely make that up in something else. Characters such as Jiggs cannot kill for his life, gets killed really easily, has pretty bad range, dies if his shield breaks (WTF?), slooooow ground speed, and has no real triple jump, while others, like Meta Knight, has the best recovery in the game, safe spammable attacks even if they're blocked, a great Up-B to counter about ANYTHING, and has great range too. Other characters have infinites or long lasting chaingrabs as well. How is that fair in the slightest? Also, if they bring back Smash Balls, Final Smashes have to be balanced too. I'm not dealing with Wario-Man or Super Sonic again LOL
They also need to make sure characters don't have unfair advantages; such as Yoshi's abnormal shield,

Also, some stages need to be improved so that the stages isn't more of a hazard than the fighters themselves. And the enormous stages need to go. Stages with walk-offs are also unfair since it's basically "get grabbed and die". I'm looking at you; New Pork City, Port Town Aero Dive, Mario Bros., Bridge of Eldin, Rumble Falls and a few others...

- Random tripping needs to go. I'm fine if they keep tripping from banana peels or low angled attacks, just not randomly. Random tripping has been my downfall several times... And apparently the random trip rate is 1%. -__-

- I think the Gameplay of Subspace (or whatever it'll be called next game lol) needs to be a bit less bland. The Great Maze was also ridiculously tedious... Also, unlocking characters by playing this was WAY too easy.

- Wi-fi needs to be severely improved. Enough said.

- Character unique target tests, please, like in the 1st 2 games. I was kinda disappointed it didn't happen for Brawl. Also, events need to be more exciting and have like 50 events, idk why Brawl only had 41 compared to Melee. 

- If Multi-Man Brawl/Boss Battles/All-Star can be done in co-op again, please make it so it's only a game over when BOTH characters die. Please.

That's pretty much my rant about the next Smash Bros. game. I'm kind of a Brawl nerd, so uh yeah. =P

Mother3fan5 : Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Ninten simply the japanese equivalent of Ness? Sorry if I sound like an idiot, but that's always been what I thought,

TrollStoneProduction : No, Ninten is the main character in Mother 1, which was never released anywhere but Japan. Ness was from Mother 2, which is our Earthbound.

And Nessbounder makes a good point about the random tripping. It doesn't make any sense. And the big stages have to go too. New Pork City was the worst course I've ever played at in any SSB game. I think they need to get rid of what can happen in places like Mario Kart and Flat Land (or whatever that one's called), where you can use somebody like Yoshi can simply put somebody 1/2 inch off the course, and they die. 

It would be super funny if they had a "MONITA JOINS THE BATTLE!" Hehe.
