I was in public school for 4 years, Where I met "Name Witheld" and all my other freinds.
When a teacher got mad at me and my Mother for missing too much school, Mother took me out of school! and put me into home. I've been miserable ever since.

I go to college in the uk (16-18) and we work at the college but we have to do as much work at home as we do at college so I guess it is a bit of both really because we are taught 70% of the work in class with no revision and we have to learn the other 30% and revise at home which is a bit annoying but I do get two and a half days of a week so I guess it is fair

I used to go to a private school then I went to a public school but I asked my mom if I could be home schooled and she's going to think on it. I think people have different likes/dislikes like some people hate bacon while people love it so much they'd marry it. (I'm not a bacon lover btw.) I'd not care if I was home schooled but my only regret is not seeing my best friend. There is somethings that home schooling can be fun like art, at my school the art teacher quit so now I'm mad plus I'm an artist so I'm even more mad. But the best part is that you get to stay home all day without going to a public schools were there could be a subject you hate (like for me I hate L.B.D, Literary by design or Lame boring dumb in kids words.)

I go to public school. I think the only real disadvantage of going to public school is that you have to deal with stuff like peer pressure and bullying. I've been getting bullied a lot lately for stupid things like how I walk and this one kid teased me for the fact that I was the only 12-year old in my 7th grade gym class since everybody else is 13 or 14. So people who are homeschooled are lucky they don't have to deal with that but I'm sure they might want to go to public school instead because public school really is a lot better besides the negative things I mentioned about it.

even though people hate school(mostly), there are things you can only get through a public school. like the social status, sports(through the school), and some extra classes like woodshop or weight training. sure you can find it elsewhere but its usually more expensive and lacks a teacher.

 I was home schooled until grade 7, when I started attending an online school. I like it for the most part, but sometimes technical issues get in way. Im home schooled, but i wasn't always. up until 4th grade i was in a public school getting bullied since i seem weak to be picked on. took a few years, but i realized i hated it. yea, yea, no bad influences, but honestly i has killed my social skills and confidence.

I go to public school, my next door neighbor used to be home schooled but now he is always on the high school bus, and all my friends go to public school as well. I would like to go to a private school to get out of annoying public school and all the jerky annoying, inappropriate kids at my high school, I am so tired when I come home because they are annoying all day long, and I try to catch some sleep on the bus but guess what? I am surrounded by idiots there too. I wouldn't mind being in a private school wearing a nice uniform away from morons like public school where everyone talks, looks, and dress like trash, if I only had the money I would do it in a heartbeat. At least I am taking advanced classes which weeds out some of the idiots at school, but there are always some kids who take the classes and they fail, I just wish students in public school were more well behaved and not untrained wild animals.
