I am right handed, though my mother is left handed. She grew up in the times when they thought being left handed was bad and she used to get her hand smacked with a ruler all the time.

I am right-handed myself. However, when I was younger, my right arm got broken when my stepdad opened the door on it so I had to learn how to write with my left-hand and use it while my right healed. Which really, really sucked. Of course, some ten years later, my writing with my left hand still looks absolutely awful and my right hand is so much easier to use :3

I am right handed, i don't think any of my family is left handed. You could count my brother, he broke his right arm and had to write with his left for a while and got pretty good at it. I also pay attention to the new babies to see what hand they favor in using to see if we have a lefty or not.

I'm a righty, but I tend to use both of my hands evenly unless it's a tool like the pencil, or holding the mouse, things like that. Sometimes I'll use a fork/spoon in either or of my hands.

As a result, he has horrible handwriting and doesn't use either hand especially well. I can tell he was meant to be left-handed because even though he writes right-handed, he holds his pen like a lefty would (which is part of why his handwriting is so bad, I imagine). He also instinctively reaches for and holds things in his left hand without realizing it.
