I can't believe it got over a billion views on YouTube!

It was a good song, until it essentially got overplayed into oblivion, and people pretty much emphasizing that they don't even know what he's saying and not making any sort of effort to want to know.

So once the wrong people learned of its existence, it had covers, dance videos, and they were all incredibly painful, and then it hit a billion views, and it died.

That was it for it.

And I'm glad because of that.

His new song, Gentleman, is a pretty good song, though, with 200 million views already in 2 weeks, you can tell it's going to be a hit.

However, it won't take long for this one to die out because it was discovered faster than Gangnam Style.

The first time I watched Gangnam Style, it only had 10 million views, so imagine my surprise when I came back the next week for it to have 30 million, then 100 million, then 500 million, and then the final trophy of a billion. It was fun to watch.

But, my main point is, it became cancerous and died out. I really hope to never see anybody to the "Gag nam stile" dance at a party, or anything like that, because that would be incredibly shameful.

Gangnam Style was a pretty funny song. The English lyrics are really great, as he's a guy that can drink hot coffee in one go (lol). I'm with everyone else who's over it, though. It's been overplayed to and fro'.

I seriously hope Gentleman doesn't get as popular as gangnam style... I seriously don't want to go into school and die of over PSYing...

1.5 BILLION views already... I wish I made that video and gain a bunch of subs.

Yep, got to love that song. Although, I've heard it like 500 times by now it's like a never-ending headache... but then again, it's just so catch I can't help but listen to it.

I sincerely hate this song. I never liked it to be truthful. I laughed a few times when I heard it, but then it really had gotten annoying to no end. I can't stand hearing stuff that annoys me, it just irritates me until I go berserk. It is the first video to get a billion views...but I don't like the song. I am glad it died in 2012.

I used to like it but not anymore. It was super popular for a while until it was MAJORLY over used and i just got plain bored of it. 

I was one of the ones that were dragged into it late so I still pretty much love that song it has gotten quite dull though I gotta admit that.

It was a good song the first couple times but now that it is all over the internet i have to say it is way to over-rated.

I think this is getting a little old.. Anyone have other thoughts? 1,700,000 views.. wow.. How does a 4 minute video get 1,700,000 views! Seems very impossible to me. xD

It's overrated and gets annoying.
I mean, I don't to listen to some guy keep on saying "Oppa Op Op Oppa gangnam style!!!!"
I mean, come on.
You can't even understand it and English translations does not even fit into the song.

Everyone keeps singing it at school, which was very annoying. Especially Kindergarteners and first graders.. I hate when everybody does it. I only watch the video now to see how many views this has..

Hey, better this song than any of JB's songs. But I agree, since it skyrocketed, it's just been falling ever since people've been finding it annoying, like what Black Bot said. I'm finding it a bit annoying too.

But hey, it makes good material for Youtube Poops, and those versions I actually watch.
