 the game that started it all, the game that brings shame to all gaming ever and a disgrace to gamers. You have no weapons, and guys come from random places ( sometimes in the middle of the screen) that either take you some where or take away what you have. The game begins with E.T landing in a spaceship, your objective is to find the parts to call your space ship. But the game is so hard that if you pass you might as well say that luck was on your side, especially if your  not so much an elite. To me,this game got what it deserved, it deserved to be buried in a landfill, the biggest disgrace ever!!!!

Come on. Seriously? ET was bad, but it was in no way bad enough to earn the title of worst game ever created. There have been crap fests I would play ET over. I wonder how many people who say ET is the worst game ever have actually played it. Or better yet, who played it BEFORE the angryvideogamenerd video review on the game. In my opinion, there is games that are more worst than E.T. For example, I hate china syndrome for Atari 2600. It was a pretty boring game with a lot of problem.

Before i comment i just wanna say that i am not from the atari age and maybe i just don´t understand how everyone feels about E.T, but...

Worst game of all time? Really? E.T for the 2600? How is that the worst game off all time? There are so many games that are WAY worse than E.T, like SUPERMAN 64 and the Aquaman game (which still may not qualify as the worst game of all time). Besides, it is not as broken as people claim it to be. The game was really just a big piece of design flaws like the getting up from holes and such.

The thing though that i really cannot understand why this title is given to this game is because...the concept. It´s a game based off E.T. It was a good movie, but what the hell kind of game material can you get from this?

I don't like it!  It looks really weird.  Apparently, the company that made ET took 5 weeks to make it, they made twice as many copies of the game then the Atari 2600 system...  So many people returned it that the company buried them all in New Mexico.  In a desert.  Over 1 million copies?  It almost destroyed the video game industry though, luckily, they still make video games that are better than ET, otherwise none of us would probably be here on this site!  I'm gonna go try it on vizzed right now!  Why?  Well...  I just want to actually try it out xD.  Is it worse than superman 64?

I actually liked the E.T game as a kid lol. Yea the game is bad but its not really as bad as every one thinks.
