Alex Kid in Miracle World was released in 1986 as the mascot of SEGA at the time, and it has numerous sequels. It was built in the SEGA Master System 2. Plus it was the most popular Alex Kid game of the series.

STORY: This game has a large story. It's starts out on the planet Aries, known as Miracle World. Where Alex Kid is studying the shellcore technique. A technique that makes one strong enough to break rocks with their bare fist. One day he goes to his home city and he saw a dieing man that told him that his home city Radactain is in danger. The old man gave Alex a medallion to unlock the door the crown is in, and a map which won't do anything in the except show where you are. He also finds out that the evil Janken is turning the citizens into stone. On his journey he meets several of Jankens henchmen. To defeat each henchmen he must win 2 out of 3 in a rock, paper, scissors contest.
After that Alex gets to the castle of Janken were he defeats janken and receives the other stone. The stone of moonlight. Then he goes to the place were the crown is which has a lot of power. The crown has the ability to turn the citizens back to normal. Can Alex save the city? Its up to you, the player.

GRAPHICS: The graphics are bright and colorful and the levels are creative. Most of them have the same theme which gets boring after a while. Plus Alex looks kind of strange. He does not look like a human like he should be.

SOUND: There is only one major song which is in most levels and the title screen. There is a few songs like the boss stage song and the song in the castle levels. However the music is energetic and positive and does not get annoying over time.

ADDICTIVENESS: When I first played this game I didn't stay on for very long. After a couple times I started to enjoy this game and I played until I beat it.

DEPTH: The games has 17 levels with some having boss stages. There's plenty of power ups and the levels are fairly large. Especially the 3 castle levels, those are gigantic. The power ups are unique and special in their own way some keep you from dieing for a short time, some your Karate punch better until you die. There's just a lot to offer for a Master System game.

DIFFICULTY: SEGA advertised about how challenging the Master System games are. Those commercials are pretty accurate because this game is so hard. I don't like the fact that if you get hit once you die. I also don't like the controls. Alex Kid moves too quickly and the levels consist of tedious jumps and there is no trial for error. Another thing that drives me nut is that since the boss stages are rock, paper, scissors contests. You win by luck not skill like it should be.
