Definitely Kingdom Hearts for me, The storyline was amazing, the characters were extremely like-able, and their behavior was relevant to who they are, and to the personality they attempt to display. KH1 being the first game I ever played probably helps influence my decision though.

I would have to say a tie between Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, Star Wars Battlefront 2, and Metroid. I have beaten Star Wars Battlefront 2, Metroid (Original game) and Metroid fusion. I love RPGs, but you can't beat good stories like the ones in Metroid!

my game franchise is DOOM I love DOOM especially DOOM: PLUTONIA EXPERIMENT not remember very well because I played but it was because my brother was playing before I was scared but beat that, oh right well I love playing with BRUTAL DOOM sack all my anger when fatalyties and all, I play when I'm bored or when I have nothing more to play games when I step should play the game is addictive good for blood jeejejjeeje

This is a difficult question for me to answer. I have several favorites and I consider them all to tie. These are the ones I simply can't be without:

Super Mario
Sonic the Hedgehog
Mega Man
Final Fantasy
.//Hack
Pokemon


As long as I have these, I'm happy.

I have played almost every Mario games and have loved it, I am a huge fan of the classic Sonic games as well as a few of the newer ones like Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 battle, and Sonic Riders. I have every Mega Man game on the NES, Mega Man X on SNES, Megaman X4 and 5 on PS1 and the Mega Man X Collection on the PS2. I have Final Fantasy 1-12, though I'm missing 10 and 13, and I .//Hack 1-3 (first series), nad I need Quarantine. I'd also lik to get my hands on all the GU games, and I have seen a lot of the animes and read the mangas.With Pokemon, My first game was Red Version, and I've owned nearly every Pokemon game, and currently hace beaten and almost filled up my Pokedex on X version. I'm waiting for Omega Ruby to come out, becuae I have to have it. I used to have Ruby Version back in the day, but my little nephew dropped it in soda and wore the battery out. :p

Tough choice, but had to give that one to FF. I've spent a good chunk of my life lost in various worlds from the final fantasy series.

That's pretty tough honestly since I have a lot that I love.

My favorite overall genre are music and rhythm games, and you could say Dance Dance Revolution and Pop'n Music are my favorite franchises in that genre.

Though for other genres, these are a few of my all time favorite franchises:

One of my favorite series is a pretty underrated series known as the Rayforce series. Favorite of the games is Raystorm easily. First game I've played in the series and since I've played all 3 I can easily say that one wins by a landslide.

My tastes change all the time.
The one Franchise I have had the most enjoyment out of changes with each new game that comes out.
Sometimes I will like it more. Sometimes I will like it less.
An example would be the "Devil May Cry" Series.
I Loved Games 1,2,3, and 4.
I disliked the alterations they made with the newest instalment so much I decided to not even give the game a play. Not even for a Demo.
I understood the idea was to reinvent a character to appeal to a new generation. (It was not intended for guys like me.)
The Funny part with that one was the intended audience did not find the alterations appealing either. Not just the Characters Designs, But the Over Persistent use of "Foul Language", and the inclusion of heavenly powers (In a sense reinventing the story myths and cannon.) just really made a huge mess of things.
Not that change is bad. Change is always good. Taking chances is what allot of gamers do want. We just never would have guessed that a company would make such alterations to their cash cows. Particularly with all the games that have "Roman Numerals" Included in the titles.

Anyway.

I like Sonic because unlike Zelda it actually mixes stuff up and kept on theme for a while.

Then we got Unleashed and Sonic Colors.

I'm not saying the Shadow the Hedgehog was a great game by any means, but at least they tried to do something epic, to where as with a lot of Nintendo series games, we basically get next gen remakes ever 4 years, (ie, Twilight Princess = Ocarina of Time with 20% difference) Star Fox, and Star Fox 64.

Same for Sonic 06, which I've never played, but I've seen all cutscenes- great concept- poorly executed, (and We didn't need Elise)

But there are many more stronger reasons.

- Sonic has a decent comic series following it.

- Sonic has characters that are actually developed, unlike Mario, Star Fox, and especially Zelda

- Sonic has good rock themes

- Sonic doesn't take forever to get a bunch of boreing stuff out of the way. It's a 20 hour game that doesn't wear out it's welcome.

Actually, I would get into Megaman, cause it seems to have the same stuff that I like about Sonic in it, but I don't have that much time for games anymore. XD

My favorite is definitely Kingdom Hearts. I think it has very good storyline and characters are just amazing.

I also like Final Fantasy, Mario, The Legend of Zelda and Sonic.

It definetly is Spyro for me.
I'm a big fan of Spyro.
It was hard to decide which,Kingdom Hearts or Spyro, but Spyro won.

My favourite gaming franchise would probably have to be Devil May Cry, as a quiet character Dante is still bad ass. There is even an anime series based on Dante. I always got into the old Dragon ball z games like GT Final bout on PlayStation. I also enjoy Halo but it's hard to beat the epicness of Dante.

I think my new favourite franchise is now the Max Payne franchise. All of its installments are awesome, the characters are great, and every part about it is memorable. It's truly one of those franchises that should get more publicity.

megamanmaniac : Wow, that is a really hard question. A year ago, I would have said Mario, but I think the favorite franchise title should go on someone who did more than rescue the same princess over and over from the same dude. Megaman is a good candidate. I recently discovered him on vizzed, and he is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Too often, I get frustrated with him too easily. I think Metroid is another good candidate,especially after the Prime series and Other M, however, there are just too few Metroid games to make it a number one franchise. In my opinion, Donkey Kong could make it in if most of his games were not jungleized versions of Super Mario Bros. I've never played Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Zelda, or shoot em up games and never will, so that's all off the list. I was born and raised on Namco's Ms. PacMan and other arcade games. I have played, conquered and still love the Pac World Trilogy. And I enjoyed the Namco Museum Megamix, as well as the latest, Pac Man and the Ghostly adventures. The winner of the favorite franchise is Pac Man!

Right now, I am going to have to go with Persona, I just started playing some of the older ones and I had a great time. It used to be Pokemon, but now this is it, and right now I would also put Final Fantasy ahead of Pokemon even though I have only played just one game in the series.

Kingdom Hearts is a wonderful game series. The amazing story and interesting characters that it gives us right from the very start makes it a truly amazing experience. I remember my first time seeing it at a friends house. It was what is now my favorite game of all time: Kingdom Hearts II. He was fighting this guy named Sephiroth (whom I have now defeated in every game he's ever been in), and the fast-paced gameplay and colorful graphics amazed me as a child, so I bought a GBA game, Chain of Memories (which is very underrated). I didn't like it near as much as Kingdom Hearts II, but I was just happy to have a game from the series. Eventually, I had played every game in the series. All of them in order. Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded (which is probably the worst in the series), and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. I loved playing all these games and learning more and more about the characters in the franchise, and to top it all off, this series got me into Video Game Music, which I had never payed much attention to beforehand. Now I'm doing arrangements of tons of tracks from various series', and I'm enjoying every last bit of it. I've never had more fun with a game series than I have with Kingdom Hearts, and it will always hold a special place in my heart forever .

To anyone else that likes this series as much as I do, you guys are all great and I would really love to hear what you think of this fantastic masterpiece of Square Enix' creation for myself!

Based on this poll I'd have to say either Mega Man or Sonic. Although I accidentally clicked on Mega Man but I'm fine with that lol. I haven't played all versions of Mega Man, just the first series, X (minus 7 & 8) and then the Zero series (GBA ones only) I liked em all.

Then for Sonic I've obviously played 1-S&K and only played Sonic CD briefly, I have a hard time getting into that one then I've done the 3 GBA ones but the 2nd one I didn't like as much and 3 was even more annoying. I've done Sonic Adventure and that was great for the most part and only played Adventure 2 for a little and didn't care much after that. I've played Sonic 4 Ep1 loved it and Ep2 and liked that one also but never finished it I also have Generations but have yet to play it and still can't wait to play it .

Anyway that's my love for those 2 series and I like most of the games that I've played out of those series, so that's how I feel about those 2 series!

Although my favorite series of all time would have to be Monster Hunter, I've never wanted/got more gaming merchandise for any game before that one. My only problem is most are JP only now and online only and pay only  and so on If you haven't played MH then WTF are you waiting for? lol

The Street Fighter series has always been one of my favorite game franchises followed by Fatal Fury.
