Alright, as a part of a contest me and ProGamer135 personally had, I'm supposed to
review a Retro Game from Vizzed. The game I shall be review is, obviously Mega Man for
the good old NES. Mega Man was released on December 17,1987 and published by Capcom.
You play as Mega Man, a humanoid made by Dr. Light as you try to defeat the
6 robot masters and Dr.Wily, who reprogrammed the Robot Masters to fight.
Unlike most titles at time, the game isn't linear and you can actually select
which stage you want to go to where one of the 6th Robot Masters reside.
Once you defeat one of them, you obtain their weapon. The weapon is another boss's
weakness,so you might one to play them in order of weaknesses to make it easier.

Challenge- 10
If you're looking for a challenging game, Mega Man is your game.If you're not an
experienced player, you will surely die. A LOT. However, if you know the tricks,
you should be able to get through. For example, the Yellow Devil in Wily Stage 1 is
pretty difficult since it chucks pieces of itself at you really fast. However,if you
memorize it or use the pause trick, you'll get through fine. The level design is
really what provides the diffculty. Like the disappearing blocks above nothing
in Ice Man's stage with enemies attacking is pretty difficult to get through.
Especially since when you get hit, there's a huge knockback damage and the blocks
are small.

Graphics - 8
Mega Man looks great for an NES game. It's easy to tell what's what and Mega Man is
small enough to where it helps the game unlike Mega Man 7.The weapon's sprites
fit for the weapons that they are.

Gameplay and Control - 9
8-bit is where Mega Man is at his best. The game is an action platformer game. In the stages,
all you have to do is pretty much just shoot enemies, jump platforms, climb ladders, BOSS, repeat.
It's a fun game. The controls are tight making it easy to do everything you need to.
I can't imagine the game without the controls being any different.

Conclusion
The game is, like most NES games, pretty difficult and NEWBS probably won't get through
without dying a lot. The controls are great and the game can be quite enjoyable. The idea
game is one of the few non-linear NES games and I find the ability to choose which boss/stage
you want go first. I also enjoy how picking a certain boss/stage allows you to obtain their weapon
which is the weakness of another boss. It makes the non-linear gameplay feel as if it
has a purpose. The controls work well and are tight, the game looks nice for a NES game, and
it's overall an amazing title for the NES.

Score: 9/10
Thank you for reading! Please tell me how I can improve on my reviews and I hope you enjoyed!

The original Mega Man is pretty good. Its something that wasn't seen before back then. Before the never ending sequels that is. Still, they're all good. But you cant beat the original.
