The last DVD I watched was the first disc of Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog Volume 1. If that doesn't count because it's a TV show and this is the Movies forum, I guess the last movie I watched on DVD was Flight starring Denzel Washington, but that was actually a Blu-Ray disc, not a DVD. So if that doesn't count, I honestly can't remember what the last movie I watched on a plain old DVD was. I guess it was Dredd back a few weeks ago, but it feels like something else would have come after it by now. Oh well...

I watched Never Back Down. It's always been one of my favorite movies, for whatever reason, despite the fact that it's a typical high school movie, with the twist that fighting is the most important thing in the movie. Normally I would call it stupid, but I like the execution of the plot and the acting. I particularly like the main character and his struggle against the popular kid. I think it resonates with me, honestly, because of my school history.

I have to reply to this. We just watched the new hobbit yesterday and it was freaking amazing. I got the DVD for a steal. The special two disc edition, for ten bucks at target! Can't wait for the other 3 or 4 to come out to it!
