ProGamer135 : You need 100 staff points per month, not 100 staff points total. And although they say "staff points" Game Room staff points don't really count toward moderator staff points. It's not mentioned here, but you also need to have a certain number of moderator actions applying to your staff points as well.

But in your case, I wouldn't ever concern yourself with being a mod.


Now, to rephrase this in ProGamer speak:

You are requiring 100 Site Staff Points inside each month individually, outside of 100 Site Staff Points in infinity. And concerning that the Local Moderator Manager named Global Moderatory Legacyme3 annotates his description of desiring 100 Site Staff Points, his meaning is adjacent to not doing that, instead replying to 100 Moderator Staff Points. Foregoing mentioning inside his post located over this thread, a Local Moderator is requested to achieve a goal of creating the required plethora of Local Moderator Site Staff Point Action Procedures to increase your Site Staff Point total aggregate number.

Good luck to all that apply. I'm pretty much the minimum for quality of a moderator.

Yeah, good luck to everybody who has applied. Whoever gets the opportunity to get the title should do a great job. Even for the people who have failed before, you'll never know what would happen.

Also, you might save some confusion if you just take out the Staff Point requirement part. There are too many comments in this thread about people saying they don't have 100 Staff Points. From the angle of someone who is on staff, it seems to make sense, but people don't seem to get it. Maybe just put something in parentheses saying "(only required after becoming staff)" or something like that.

I guess. I don't think it's a huge deal. I said they were the requirements of staff members, not that they needed it prior to becoming a mod.

I wonder what happens when mods apply, do they become Globals? Just wondering here....

Not quite.

It's not that easy. Generally the globals, David, and geeogree all have a lengthy discussion (about as long as it is for hiring 3 locals) about who the right person for the job is.

Locals only apply for giggles. It doesn't really mean anything in the end. Becoming a Global isn't left to applications. It's just a mutual decision by David, geeo, and the current Globals.
