Only once that I recall. My family and I had went somewhere (I don't remember where, as I was only three or four) and it seemed we had been in the car all day. So when we got home, I jumped out of the car and ran for the front door. On the way, I stepped on a bee.

Ow.

My foot swelled up and I cried so hard I had an asthma attack and thought I never would catch my breath. Since then, I have been very much afraid of bees. I also never go outside barefoot anymore, nor do I walk through grass so long as there is a sidewalk nearby.

I've never gotten stung by a bug before. I've had some pretty close calls, though. Bees keep hanging out by my basketball hoop and I don't see them there. I don't think they know that I'm responsible for them getting hit by my basketball.

I got stung by a bee once a few years ago, I was like 12, but it wasn't really that bad, I think I was outside mowing the lawn or something and it was really hot outside and the lawn mower wouldn't start and I tugged it and my arm snagged backward into a bush and a bee stung me, it hurt at first but it really wasn't that bad and I recovered fine. I don't get bit by mosquitoes, I wear pants and I spray myself to avoid them, they are annoying. I wear pants because I would much rather be hot and sweaty and be able to shower than rather be a connect the dots game afterwards.


I feel bad to those who are allergic to bees and being stung by the is a big problem. That must really be terrible.

I have never gotten stung by a bug but I do remember being bitten by one, at the time, it hurt terribly because I was young ant it might have been the most painful thing I had experienced at the time, but it really wasn't that bad.

Yes I have been stung by a bug I was  13 or 14 maybe and I stepped on a wasps nest on accident(they live underground) and one flew up and stung me on my elbow. It was incredible painful and I got the swelling to go down by putting baking soda on the spot were I got stung.
