Hey guys, this is starwars293 with another game review. Oh boy, this is one of my least favorite game. I am going to review Castlevania 2 Simon's Quest. God I hated this game. The game was really different compared to the other Castlevania games. This game is the hardest game I have ever played in my whole gaming life, ever

You pretty much play as Simon again in this game. The game takes place 7 years after Simon defeated Count Dracula. Simon has to now find all of Dracula's parts and revive him before he dies from Dracula's curse. This game was really hard for me. You could pretty much skip the first two bosses and take two of Dracula's parts in a mansion. However, you need to fight the two bosses to get a certain weapon which will help you fight Dracula.

The whip you start with is a leather whip now. You would usually have to whip a candle to get a whip upgrade. In this game though, you have to buy the whip's upgrade. There is the Flame Whip upgrade that you can get, but you need yo find someone in a certain dungeon in the game. The only way you can pay is by paying with hearts. Usually, the hearts would represent how much sub-weapons or how much magic you have left. In this game, the way that you can get hearts is by killing the monsters. You also need to buy the sub-weapons by using the hearts.

The enemies here in the game are really hard and annoying. There are wolfs who jump around, eyes that follow you until you move on to the next floor or part, and you have Dracula. Death is also in this game. He isn't really hard like he was in the first Castlevania game. He just throws sickles at you. If you have the Flame Whip, you can kill him easily with it. You also fight Carmilla's mask in the game. Just use the Flame Whip and you should be able to defeat her. Finally, you have Dracula, he is the hardest out of the three bosses. There is an item that can make you invincible for a while. I can't remember what it's called, but it will help you. You should have like at least 10 of them. Use it and stay in one stop. Or this is an easier way. You can use a sub-weapon that can throw flame walls. Use it on Dracula once you first see him, use it until he's dead. Once that's done, you finish the game.

The ending, well there are three endings in this game. The Best ending, the Good ending, and the bad ending. The best ending, how you can get it is that you need to beat the game in less then 7 game days. For the good ending, you need to beat the game in 7 game days. Finally, the bad ending, you need to beat the game in more then 7 game days. Now lets move on, shall we?

Graphics-The graphics are good really. Nothing wrong, just the way should be. The enemy's sprites are pretty good really. The jumping wolfs' legs move when they jump.

Sound-Oh my god! The sound is awesome. The best one they have in the game is Bloody Tears. If you want a sample of it, search it up in Youtube. That was one of the best soundtracks in the game.

Addictivness-I wouldn't want to play it again. The game is really hard to beat. I would just play it again because of the music. I would just walk around, killing monsters and zombies while I listen to the music. I wouldn't beat the game, I would just listen to the music. That would be why I would play it again.

Story-7 years after Dracula's defeat, Simon Belmont is on another quest again. This time, it is different. He has to travel across Transylvania collecting all of Dracula's parts. He has to revive him and kill him again before he dies from Dracula's curse.

Depth-It doesn't offer that much really. It take a lot to beat the game really. You need to buy whip upgrades, fight more powerful monsters, and fight the three bosses. It takes a lot to beat the game

Difficulty-Oh boy. This game is really hard to beat. I don't even know why Konami made a game like this. I mean, sure they added some good soundtracks, but did they have to make the game this hard? If it wasn't really hard, then i'm sure people would love this game.

Overall-I do find this game good by soundtracks, but I find it bad by the way it's hard. It doesn't have to be this hard though. If Konami didn't make it really hard, but made it a bit easy and a little bit hard, then I would be sure that people would love this game.

Wrap Things Up-Castlevania 2 Simon's Quest is a hard game to play. I wouldn't recommend playing the game, but if you want to try the game out, you can. I can't stop you from playing it, can I?

I never liked castlevania, even the Ninja Gaiden games. Just because of the insane difficulty that pushes up to impossible!

Nice review, I enjoyed it.
