Does anyone know any foods that are low in calories? I've bought quaker rice cakes, bagels, cream cheese, whole grain waffles, nutella, cup ramen, tuna, raisen bran, skim milk, 45-calorie bread, fig bars, yoplait yogurt, peanut butter, and fruit bars.

The problem is, there are only so many combinations of meals I can make with these things. It's starting to get dull. I've found ways to make my regular food, like nachos and spaghetti, with lower calories, but I still would like to have some different foods. I want to lose weight, but I don't want to starve myself by only eating smaller portions of things I usually eat.

So, anyone know any foods I can get that are low in calories?

Mainly vegetables are low on calories and fat etc, especially stuff like celery that is essentially water.

try making different soups and smoothies by using a blender and using fresh fruits and vegetables. Also dieting can be pretty boring so it's usually easier to do it with someone else .

Also you could try doing exercise during the day that will usually keep your mind off how boring and tasteless your future meal is going to be.
Just try and stay away from Fat's and Carbs

soup, oatmeal, whole grain pasta, lean meats, beans, wraps, salad, fruit, veggies, stir fry, vegetable pot roast, potatoes.

Be careful with cup ramen. Those have insane amounts of sodium (1000+ grams per cup!) which can make you retain water!

Hi XxChaosxX, well I see a lot of healthy foods that has been listed but I haven't seen rice as one of them. It might be pretty boring but might help as a filler with other foods. Although after eating rice or Chinese I am hungry an hour later but the combinations could be endless. Also maybe you can find some good kinds of cereal to go with your skim milk like plain chereios. I'm not to smart on this subject but i hope this helps you.

I agree with sonicmuffin veggies have very low calories and you can add some dipping sauce to add some flavor. However you shouldn't just look at calorie when picking a good food. You can easily burn calories (I burn about 300 calories a day just doing my exercise bike), you should also be looking at calories per fat, protein, colestral (the bad stuff that clogs your veins), and sugar. Also if your trying to lose weight (not trying to say your fat) make sure your exercising as well. Almost forgot, look at serving size as well; the calories might be low but that might be only for a certain amount of the food.
