This is definitely a fun twist to the original Super Mario Brothers game. Not overly hard, if at all. In fact, might be more easier to play this version than the original, but that's just me personally. Levels have a longer time limit to some of them, so if you can fly through them, you can easily rack up more points. But all in all, the basic concept is still the same. Rescue the Princess and the seven Toadstools from the castles, and be the best plumber possible. And an even better thing, there are many numerous opportunities to collect mushrooms and flowers in every level, if you ever hit any of the bad guys. Don't assume that it will be a walk in the park though. There are a good handful of levels that can cost you quite a bit of lives if you aren't careful about getting through them. And remember, if you ever run into an area where you can grab multiple items, grab them individually, because trying to grab multiple things will only cause the previous ones to disappear on you. Other than that, you can only do one last thing, enjoy the game for yourself. 

I've never played that hack before, myself. But I'm left wondering after reading what you had to say. What exactly is the difference between this hack and the original game?

Yeah this hack is ok. I'm not a huge fan of most of these Mario hack titles, but this is one of the more playable ones.

Sirius Mario Bros is a pretty good game. It has I think 5 of them in the entire board? There could be more, I'm not sure.
Anyways, yeah I love the game. Its probably one of the most fun I had with a hack. Its something even I would recommend.

I used to play this game before. It's always nice when I come across one of these games again. I think the original Super Mario Bros. is easier, maybe because I've beaten a couple times, I never passed World 4 of this game.

I've been playing this game this afternoon while I was on lunch for work, and it's fine..until you die and have to start all over again. It's kinda like a SHMUP, once you die you are gonna have a hard time digging yourself out of the hole.

It sounds kind of fun, I've never really played a mario hack before other then the Super Mario Frustration (forever) game on board which was really impossible to beat.

I have played a Mario hack similar to this one before... it was not this one. Unfortunately, I can not think of the name of it. It has been so long since I have played a Non-Mario Kart Mario game. I just bought Super Mario 64 DS today. So far, it is pretty good. It is a bit different though.
