FInd a steel mill that has a smelting pool that has a retractable platform over it. Get a whole hoard of zombies to chase after you. Go to the room with the retractable floor. Climb up a ladder. When all the zombies are ideally standing around like the stupid corpses that they are, flip the switch that opens the floor, dropping them into the smelting pool. Find another hoard and repeat.

I'd say the more violent, the better. The smart way would be go for the heads, but I like to go a couple of steps farther, I would just break every limb off so they can't move and just shoot like crazy on the helpless zombie.

I would shoot them through the brain, because destroying a zombie's brain is an effective way of killing them. Another way is to burn them to a crisp. You could also dump acid onto them and then they'll start decaying (faster). But, of these methods I only prefer the first one because it seems like the best (so far...)

I would prefer to kill them with a crowbar.

-Crowbars are "silent". Meaning that when you use them to kill a zombie, you won't attract other zombies (at least by sound). The only sound that will be heard is the crunch of the skull and squelch of the brain.

-Crowbars are versatile. You don't just use them for killing zombies. They make good utility tools as well, such as breaking locks, using leverage to open stuck doors, break windows to hijack cars, etc.

-Crowbars don't use ammo. They don't break (if they can be broken, it takes a lot of force to do so).

I would say best way to kill a zombie is cutting off the head so that nerves all die. That and I would cut the head in half causing the brain to get destroyed. Shooting them in the head is safer but the problem is ammo and if you never held a gun or aren't good with one a head shoot would be hard to pull.
