Does anyone still have some movies on the VHS format?
I was just wondering because it is a really fun format to watch movies on.
I love watching Star Wars Episode 1 on VHS, there is just a nice charm to it.

My dad's video camera is still VHS. We have hardly watched anything in VHS format lately, but we still have a DVD VHS combo just in case --although my mom would like to get a converter to put all videos onto DVDs if possible.

I actually do still have my VHS tapes. Many of them include recorded Power Ranger episodes, WWF episodes and other T.V episodes I enjoyed during the 90's. There's also a few movies like the Disney movies, the Godfather, Scarface, and a few extra classics from the late 80s- late 90's. I haven't watched any of these movies in YEARS! Since the release of the DVD player and awareness of free movie web viewing sites, I find VHS tapes to be useless.

Believe it or not, I'm 20 years old, and I still have an actual, perfectly working VCR. I also have several VHS tapes, most of which are in my mom's room. Most of them are 80's and 90's movies: Independence Day, The Color Purple... I even have the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie on VHS. I'm perfectly fine with having VHS- after all, I can still rent tapes from the library, and I don't have to worry about the tapes scratching... unlike DVDs.
