I would have to say for me it's Spider-Man: Web of Shadows. I know it's a console game also but it's personally my favorite PC related game. The graphics on it are amazing and the controls never have slipped or lagged for me although some people have said they do.

I never actually bothered playing anything on my PC besides the retro games here until I had to buy Sonic Generations for Windows (since the Wii isn't powerful enough to run that, but then again, neither is my computer...). However, I recently purchased Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic from Steam's summer sales for only a couple dollars and it is an awesome and addicting game. Never played a star wars game (other than Lego) before. It's so great that it's been consuming my life lately....

I thought Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare wasn't half bad to be honest, but Cave Story is just amazing! I got it on Steam a while back and it just amazes me to no end. Also try Terraria or Minecraft, they're awesome aswell

Wing Commander Saga, if you have played the original Wing Commander here on Vizzed, the WC Saga will blow you away. The graphics, story, and dialogue keep you in the game just as much as the action. What also surprised me is that the game was released for free.

I also really like Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim from the Elder Scrolls series. I love being a Khajiit or an Argonian because the beast races are really cool. Who wouldn't want to be a cat or lizard person who can save the world and cast magic from their fingertips.
