The scariest movie I've ever is Carved: Legend of the Slit-Mouthed Woman... See that movie, and WILL NOT be able to walk down your hallway at night.

I feel that this one is the best under this category of films, I watched it as a child and it really has a great story line.

I am a huge horror fan, and I've seen hundreds of them, they don't usually affect me, but the fourth kind really freaked me out, I guess because it was one of those based on a true story types, and aliens are scary
Then there's the Human Centipedes, which I guess aren't particularly scary, just so so horribly vile.
House of a thousand corpses is a great one too if you like twisted stuff

I really don't have one. Horror movies don't scare me. I just laugh at the parts that should scare me.

The Exorcist was the only movie to scare me enough to make me too terrified to go to the bathroom by myself so I guess I'll go with that one.

I don't know what horror movie I'm most scared of at this point in my life, since a lot of the ones I've seen recently (and ones I've already seen that used to scare me) don't scare me in the way that once I'm done watching it, I still feel uneasy and get creeped out being by myself/in the dark, etc.

However: I saw Night of the Living Dead when I was 10ish in the middle of the night and that scarred me for a pretty long time. I'm not super scared of any particular zombie movie nowadays, but the concept of zombies scares the pants off me (even though I find the whole premises for zombies completely unrealistic). I have horrifying, vivid zombie nightmares at least once a month, haha.

Also the movie that's scared me the most in my whole life was the Grudge, I saw it in theaters when I was 13-14ish with some friends and I stopped breathing for most of the movie it felt like because I was so scared. I had trouble sleeping for months and it was a year or two before I stopped having nightmares of the ghost chick all up in my face like in the end of the movie, even when I was over being scared of it. I watched it again when I was 17 and it was like watching Looney Tunes: funny and not at all hard to watch. Crazy how things can scare you so deeply, yet within a couple years, you've matured and it's just silly you ever cared.

Scariest movie....? Oh man, this is going to be hard. I am trying to think of a movie that scared me really badly. The only one I can actually remember scaring me at the time I first saw it was What Lies Beneath. I watched it with my two best friends at the movie theater. We screamed our heads off. I can't really remember any other movies actually scaring me really badly.

The Audition is a really screwed up movie, to the point of it being horrifying.
I also think that The Devil's Rejects was scarier than House of a Thousand Corpses.

Well, I have been watching horror movies since I was 3 (that is far back as I can remember with horror movies), so I can't say I get scared by them. If I had to pick one, I would say Night of the Demons. Now, I do not mean any of it's sequels or the crappy 2009 remake. I am talking about the original 1988 version. Those who think any horror movie made after the mid 90s (maybe late 90s) are scary would pee their pants. Horror films of the new millenium can't compare.

I LOVE horror movies and I have seen too many to name, but one that stands out in my mind as particularly scary is Martyrs. It's in French with English subtitles.

It is not jump-in-your-face scary, and there are no fictional monsters or demons. It's incredibly violent in some parts. But the part that makes it so terrifying are the disturbing scenes that are beyond being violent like a classic horror movie (knives slashing, screaming, some fake blood, yadda yadda...). Instead it's got full-on torture, child abuse, self-cutting/stabbing. With unsettling special effects in every aspect especially skin being cut and peeled. It's so hellish and full of suffering that it's really, REALLY disturbing. The most disturbing movie I've ever seen that wasn't real violence.

Horror movies usually don't scare me. I wind up laughing at them more than anything

With that said, there were 2 movies that I was either freaked out about, or just disturbed watching it. (Whether it was fear or disgust)

Saw, and the Original exorcist.

I am not sure what my scariest horror movie is. It has to be something I would never want to watch...something that is presumed 'too scary.' I'm not a big fan of movies and I don't watch movies that much, so I can't come to a conclusion on that.

The most horrifying movie film I have ever seen would have to be The Haunting of Connecticut. I was a lot younger when I had watched it. I hadn't known as well. My cousin had told me all of the zombies had burned down and I had became relieved.XD

I think the scariest horror film is the one that still spooks me to this day. And that would be The Omen. I always thought that one was scary because of the suspense. The films that are gory know how to make someone jump which is really easy for a movie to do, but they don't actually leave me afraid.
