Graphics: It look like someone took a sledgehammer to all the sprites. Sound: My ears are bleeding.Addictiveness: If you try it once , you wouldnt click it again.Story: Story is still good, but, being a remake, it has nothing new.Depth: Not polished, full of glitches.Difficulty: This game is frustrating the bad way. The small screen makes it impossible to know what will happen and you cant think it through. It isn't helped by the slowness and the fact megaman can only shoot 2 shots.Overall: This game is a disgrace to MegaMan, Capcom, And Sega. If you want to play this, just play Mega Man 5 and 4. It has all the same stuff, but it isnt a disaster and can be more understandable.
You mentioned the sprites look like someone took a sledge hammer to it. I have not played this, but Megaman looks no different from the NES version. Is it the enemies that look worse than the other versions?
I for one absolutely enjoy Mega Man for the Sega Game Gear. Yes it is as short as the Mega Man games for the original Game Boy. But the fun and challenge from the other Mega Man games are there. So to the original poster who said that the game was Just bad'' I suggest you go out and play all the previous Mega Man games for the original Game Boy, Nintendo, Super Nintendo and the one and only Mega Man game that came out for the Sega Genesis. And I mean come on the game is on a handheld system, so of course the graphics aren't as good as their console counter part. But as a long time Mega Man fan I cannot recommend this or any other Mega Man games enough. Their fun action that I feel are worth you time playing.
