I was at my local Blockbuster the other day and I was browsing the horror section.
I saw tons of 80s horror movie sequels and tons of Saw movies but in the section I saw this movie.
I picked up off the shelf and read the back and this is what I read:
BTK KILLER puts the viewer alongside the Witchita,Kansas-based serial killer Dennis Rader, who in the 1970's stalked and murdered his victims and, decades later returns from obscurity in the 1990's to threaten the city again. In BTK KILLER "BTK" stands for "bind, torture, kill'.
Director Ulli Lommel blends reality horror with a compelling, violent true drama to reveal the tormented inner workings of Rader."
So I decided to give it a shot after the two other B.T.K films I watched so after renting the film and arriving home later that night I popped in the disc and the film begun...then 82 minutes later I was wondering what the hell I just watched.
I'm not saying this is a bad film but it is so freaking weird, the first 2 minutes is a bunch of screwed up shots of a woman moaning in pain then we find out this is a screwed up nightmare of a woman working on the B.T.K case.
There is very little plot to the film, I will give you the basic run down.
-Freaky Nightmare of lead woman
-Tries to taunt Dennis on radio show
-Dennis messes about
-Flashback to young Dennis torturing a woman for 10 mins
-A cow gets its head cut off 40 times(this looks like real footage)
-Dennis mucks around
-Kills woman for 10 minutes again
-Cut back to present, still taunting Dennis
-We see Dennis' normal life
-Dennis kills woman
-Dennis is caught (THE END)
So yeah, If you have seen this movie feel free to write what you thought about it.
Thank you for reading
