RoboCop Versus the Terminator is an okay game. The story, of course, is great. The story was written by Frank Miller BEFORE he went nuts, and it makes perfect since. It is way more than a "Let's have misunderstanding that causes them to fight and then something happens to make them work together" story, so that's good. The T-800 isn't in the game, so that could be disappointing to some fans. Overall, a good story
The graphics are cool colored and stylish, but you will notice that they're ripped strait out of Batman, so it offers nothing new.
   The music is pretty awesome.
The game play is what separates it from being an okay game, to being a good game. You play as RoboCop, who has unlimited ammo and a machine gun that looks like a hand gun(I know those are real, but I don't know what they are called). It's your basic Shoot 'em Up, but it has one flaw. Your bullets can't go through anything but the air. This may not sound that bad, but, trust me, you will notice! A lot of the times it will get you killed because it will force you to take bullets because you need to jump to a platform to hit your enemy and by that time you have taken three or four hits from your enemy already(I know you could argue that's more realistic, but it's RoboCop Versus the Terminator, realism went away with the title), and that's were the game dropped the ball.
Overall an okay game, but it was one flaw away from being good.

Yes I agree with everything you have said, but I too have an issue, with playing robocop vs terminator on three different formats, you can clearly see that each individual is different.,well it has to be, that is a fact.
For me the mega drive version,is the finished product, its clean and crisp, nice prehended backgrounds, good sound effects, good action
But the super snes version is different, but also lacks that polish look, check for yourself, play the mega drive version first, then play the super snes version, then make a decision,I know what I would choose.
For this version I have to say, its not bad,and the format its on,is pretty good, they have done a good  job with this, its more simple, but there are times were you die a lot even before you fire your gun, which can be frustrating, but it one of those games what you pick up. Have 20 minutes or so on, then  you move on.
With the other formats, there more variety, but in fairness this version lives up to  the franchise .....

thanks

PICKARDO : Thanks, but I was STRICTLY talking about the NES version, my computer won't let me get the plug-in, so I couldn't say anything about the other 2 versions
