When I started the game, I was expecting something more or less like a Second Quest for Zelda 2. Instead, I got something that was, frankly, unplayable.

Acquiring the spell in Rauru now had a quest, which was fine. But I could find no way to accomplish that quest. After some thought, I decided that I likely needed an item - but the path to the First Palace was trickier, and the dark cave had hidden its lone monster so well that it was virtually undetectable.

When I finally got to the First Palace, there was only one possible path to take - straight to the boss. So here I am - no spells, no items, up against a boss who kills me with 3 hits.

Next time, mod hackers, can you please play test the game first?

Actually this game is a 2-part ROM, the other part being Zelda 2 Journey of a Day hard:
