I occasionally drank the sauce out of hot sauce packets. I usually only did it for the mild ones because the hotter ones tend to have more fibers and seeds or what not.

However, I'll see your hot sauce and raise you spices.  Namely, Old Bay.  Sometimes I just want something salty and am too lazy or drunk to drive to the store to buy chips.  I make due with what I have.  I've chewed black peppercorns too... I wouldn't really recommend it.  The spiciness can get a little intense.

I rarely use hot sauce because my mother never travels to the grocery store and attempts to purchase it. If I had owned hot sauce, I wouldn't drink it from the bottle. That would just be extremely spicy and ridiculous. Although, I seriously enjoy spicy foods, but not that spicy.
