You mean the SmartBoards? My high school has had them for a few years, and some of the middle school teachers have been getting them. They're pretty cool, until they get old and don't like to align.

I think all of the schools in my district have SmartBoards. I hate when the calibration goes off. :| Other then that, my teachers like to use them quite a bit, and I think they add a new element to the classroom.

I think I've seen a smartboard in a different school, just don't know what it does.

My school teachers just hook up the tablets to a projector on which they can write etc. The projector screen is a roll out right in front of the wide marker board, so that is also an option incase of projector fail.

Ya we do and we almost never ever use the actual board anymore just because there is no use for it anymore. I learn better off of this kind of stuff anyway. I really like it more than the white board.
