I prefer typing because I get my work done really fast but I think writing is good... when I'm using a pen because I'm a fast writer when I'm using a pen.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find many people on here who would prefer to write everything.

While I do enjoy writing things by hand I don't think I could do it solely as my way to "write".

Typing. I have pretty bad handwriting that is hard to read a lot of the time. When I type I just have to worry about spelling errors though I do not make spelling errors that often.

I type more than anything else. I do all my writing on the computer. I used to role play a lot on myspace where I developed my "writing skills." Creative writing I guess you can call it, but I can't write on paper or anything, my handwriting is just to sloppy lol. I rather type more than anything else.

I do write a lot at work and of course type quite a bit when I'm on the computer -- but, whenever I'm studying Japanese, I usually write down new words instead of typing them in (and then printing them out later).    I don't do much writing other than that, I don't even write out checks.

While I do agree that typing is faster and I can get more done in less time, I just prefer writing by hand. I find it more comfortable and enjoyable.

I prefer typing as well. Mainly because my handwriting has always been bad, and it helps to have something nobody has trouble reading. Although, if I had to choose between writing a 10 page essay by either typing, or writing, I would write every time. I can fit a lot less writing than typing

I like writing. It's much more personal and individualized. I write my signature quite often and I enjoy doing that every chance I get.

I like typing. I only recently began to really use computers a lot (high school). Which is why my typing speed is not too fast. I'm also pretty laid back and tend to take my time with typing so even if I could type faster, I tend to think at the same rate. I don't know.

To be honest, I prefer drawing on paper. Eh, I'll go writing.
