What happened to me, was I got stuck in between two tall pillars, with no way to get over, and a floor under me, then Baron Von Blubba Killed me 3 times because I took too long. (3 lives, 3 times)

I think I died on the same exact stage as you did. You can't even get out of there because you can't use the bubble hopping strategy.

I also hate it when you're falling from above and you end up on top of an enemy. You can't do anything about it. =|
