The Nightmare On Elm Street movies are one of my favorite horror movie franchises, and the game is a well created game of these movies. This game has a lot of story and depth into it, you basically are collecting all of Freddy Kruger's bones to destroy him once and for all, so this game  is obviously based on Dream Warriors. This game is not very addictive as other games are. The sound is a decent tune and when Freddy is nearing you it plays the "1, 2, Freddy's coming for you" song, and finally the Freddy fight music is fast paced and, well 8-bit. Graphics in this game are exceptional for NES an NES game. The difficulty in this game is quite high due to the starting over from the beginning rule. This game is very decent and I think you would enjoy trying it out. One more thing I forgot to add is to look at for hidden "dream cards"- they help you gain more characters in the dream world, and wake yourself up with radios before Freddy gets you!

I've seen this game before...mostly AVGN introduced me to it in a video, its not very good of a game, but it has the best description for a NES replica of the movie. So, I give props to that.

I actually like this game even though it got such bad criticism. I think it did well having a Freddy vibe as far as NES is concerned. The levels were twisted, creepy, and dark, even though it was a little cartoony. But the music is great. The Freddy chime is more than creepy enough (again, for an NES game). But this game really knows how to make boss music. I could slap the boss music over most bosses for other NES games, and it would make it so much better.
