Just last night I went and saw the Popstar movie, and I really liked it.
Not only was the movie funny, but it was filmed in a way that might have never been done before, and the list of cameos was intense, must have been at least 40 different guest appearances throughout the movie. Some of the music was okay as well, aside for the ones that were just plain dumb. The last movies I have seen....and it's quite a few since I have been on here so here it goes.....Logan's Run (1976) In the year 2274, young residents enjoy an idyllic, hedonistic
lifestyle within the protective confines of a domed city. The general belief is that when each person turns 30, they are reincarnated for another blissful life cycle. Those who know the much darker truth become "runners" and flee to a hidden sanctuary. When law enforcement officer Logan (Michael York) goes undercover to locate the refuge, he winds up instead trying to initiate a revolution with runner Jessica (Jenny Agutter). Random old school one I saw....enjoyed it. Fletch Lives (1989) Irwin "Fletch" Fletcher (Chevy Chase) is one of the best investigative reporters in the country, and he'll need all his skill when he becomes the main suspect in a murder case. After inheriting a Louisiana plantation from a distant relative, Fletch makes the journey from Los Angeles to check it out. When he winds up in bed with a lawyer -- who in turn winds up dead the next morning -- Fletch has to solve the crime before he ends up behind bars for someone else's misdeed. Chevy Chase in his prime funny as hell. Taken 3 (2014) Ex-covert operative Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) and his ex-wife, Lenore (Famke Janssen), are enjoying a reconciliation when Lenore is brutally murdered. Bryan is framed for the crime and flees, with the CIA, FBI and police all in hot pursuit. For the last time, he channels his rage and particular set of skills into hunting down Lenore's real killers, taking his revenge and protecting the one important thing left in his life: his daughter, Kim (Maggie Grace). Another kick @ss Liam neeson movie. The man from UNCLE (2015) At the height of the Cold War, a mysterious criminal organization plans to use nuclear weapons and technology to upset the fragile balance of power between the United States and Soviet Solo (Henry Cavill) and KGB agent Illya Kuryakin (Armie Hammer) are forced to put aside their hostilities and work together to stop the evildoers in their tracks. The duo's only lead is the daughter of a missing German scientist, whom they must find soon to prevent a global catastrophe. Enjoyed it. The Stanford Prison Experiment (2015) The Stanford prison experiment (SPE) was a study of the psychological effects of becoming a prisoner or prison guard. The experiment was conducted at Stanford University on August 14–20, 1971, by a team of researchers led by psychology professor Philip Zimbardo using college students.[1] It was funded by the U.S. Office of Naval Research[2] and was of interest to both the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps
The participants adapted to their roles well beyond Zimbardo's expectations, as the guards enforced authoritarian measures and ultimately subjected some of the prisoners to psychological torture.

The last movie I saw was Deadpool. I recommend it but don't think all the hype regarding it as the best superhero movie ever is valid. I really enjoyed the humor but it isn't for everyone. |

I saw both Warcraft and Now You See Me 2 yesterday. Both of them were good movies but Warcraft was simply amazing. It was visually stunning, and the music was amazing too, so good that I bought the soundtrack on my way home. |

zanderlex : I saw it this weekend as well and I loved it. Part of the reason I loved it was because I knew the overall story and characters. If I wasn't a fan of the series as much as I am I don't know if I would have enjoyed it as much. I didn't think the acting was as good as it could have been from all the characters but it was good enough in most places.
For sure it was a strong start for the series to continue going forward and making more movies. I just hope that the good audience reviews will get people going to see it in higher numbers because from what I've seen the opening weekend was not very strong. zanderlex : I was listening to this Sirius XM show from yesterday called The Bonfire, and they were talking about a scene in that movie where the singer Seal fights off wolves, so I watched the scene online and it was quite funny. I may have to check that movie out. |

The last few movies I have seen.....I'll start off with the ones you should NOT see. Joshua (2007) Brad (Sam Rockwell) and Abby (Vera Farmiga) Cairn have a seemingly
picture-perfect life. Brad is a successful stockbroker, their son, Joshua, is a child prodigy, and Abby has just given birth to a baby girl. Ominous cracks soon begin to appear on the surface of this pretty picture. Pets mysteriously die, the baby will not stop crying, and Joshua develops an interest in mummification. The incidents may be coincidental, or Joshua's intelligence masks an extremely evil heart. The little kid was really creepy....sam rockwell was good...but overall this movie just blew. The Pyramid (2014)Father-daughter archaeologists Miles (Denis O'Hare) and Nora Holden (Ashley Hinshaw) discover a unique pyramid that has been buried beneath the Egyptian desert for 5,000 years. Accompanied by a newswoman (Christa-Marie Nicola) and her team, the archaeologists enter the tomb and promptly become trapped. Hopelessly lost within the pyramid's labyrinthine structure, the group faces deadly perils that threaten their escape, including collapsing floors and bloodthirsty predators. One of those movies that I was like....maybe this could be decent......nope definitely not....besides the cool ancient egypt relics, the ending with "half man half jackal", and the hot blonde....one you should pass by. The Visit (2015)Becca (Olivia DeJonge) and younger brother Tyler (Ed Oxenbould) say goodbye to their mother as they board a train and head deep into Pennsylvania farm country to meet their maternal grandparents for the first time. Welcomed by Nana (Deanna Dunagan) and Pop Pop (Peter McRobbie), all seems well until the siblings start to notice increasingly strange behavior from the seemingly charming couple. Once the children discover a shocking secret, they begin to wonder if they'll ever make it home. Another M. Night movie....but this one wasn't terrible....it actually kept my attention through the whole thing....the suspense was decent. Catch it once if you can.....honestly though I think the only reason I watched it was b/c it was cinemax's new movie that night. We are your friends (2015) I actually liked this one......it got crap ratings but.....I like beats...that's probably half of it.....the other half was the DJ lifestyle, the parties, and the smokin' hot beauties. Mainly though...reminded me of times in my past....I had flashbacks of wow nights I have had all over the world. To me it was a cool one....but if you don't like beats.....forgettaboutit. Independence Day Resurgence! Man it was a great movie! It didn't fail like other part 2 movies would. This and Zoolander 2 really topped it of. But man Independence Day Resurgence was on a whole different level. The critics said you'll enjoy the movie so much that you won't miss Will Smith in it. And it was true! I wouldn't mind going back to see it again. I've never felt so happy! I've been waiting for months to see this and it was worth the wait. |

Eh....I rewatched world war z I really like the film. Most films tend to rewatch over and over again. Not a lot of people would do that or even like to do that in a way. For some reason I just like repeating things.... |

Not sure if this supposed to be movie theater or just any movie watched, so I'll do both. The last movie I watched in theater with Captain America: Civil War with some friends, and it was amazing. Black Panther was the best. And the new Spider Man actually surprised me, I really liked him. And I also really enjoyed *a bunch of spoilers*. XD The last movie not in theaters was the Kurt Russell western, Bone Tomahawk, with some friends. It's actually a pretty good movie, with a few scenes of intense and horrendously graphic violence. Definitely not for kids... Or some adults, but I enjoyed it, even though one of my friends left the room before the bad things happened. I saw the new Independence Day movie and I really liked it but had a few problems with it. For once, I know its about aliens and the original movie was great, but I feel this movie was way too Sci FI for its own good. I didn't like the ending either, it just didn't really make any sense. Other than that, I really likes the story. Whether it was scenes that were new stuff or scenes that connected stuff from the original movie, there was some great moments and some really emotional ones as well like the scene where the ship was touching down. |

I totally don't remember.. I think it was Hamtaro - Miracle in Aurora Valley, though. That was really far back though. I don't remember much about it though besides pirates. And I don't like pirates.
So chances are I will never be here saying "oh yeah the last movie i watched was sellouts of the cafebarbeque: on stranger's lawn" So chances are I will never be here saying "oh yeah the last movie i watched was sellouts of the cafebarbeque: on stranger's lawn" |

So I saw The Legend of Tarzan today with my friend. We saw it in 4DX and it was amazing. What we paid for was basically a movie and a half but what we got was a movie and a theme park ride. The movie itself was really cool but the seats made the whole experience come alive. The seats vibrated, rocked, and move in each direction. There was a little piece that would push into our back whenever someone got stabbed, jets of air would sting our ears every time a bullet was fired, there were sprays of water, fog, scent machines, even the walls of the theater were screens that would show things like lightning, and there was always a nice breeze to make it feel like we were out in the open.
There were some scenes such as the one on the train and the final battle where the rocking and jets made them feel so real. The movie itself had some great music, and the acting was amazing.
