Just saw Sonic 2 today. I never got to watch it for some reason, but I happened to have an empty spot for a movie to watch and it happened to be airing.

It's a funny one to watch, but not one I'd rewatch soon. Too many childish scenes and cliches, and Eggman is excessively crazed at some points (though Jim Carrey makes an impressive performance, he's still at the very peak of his talent). The absolutely stupid cop didn't make things any better, and it had way more relevance to the story than he deserved imo.

The special effects were very nice, and Super Sonic looked badass as hell. I sincerely hope they carry on with Sonic 3 and that rumored appearance of Shadow because things can get very epic with the black edgy hedgehog around.

The last movie I have seen is actually Texas Killing Fields, starring the guy who played Kyle Reese in Terminator : Salvation.

It is not re-watchable and was barely watchable the first time.

It's about people who don't deserve to die being murdered and the predictable ending did not have me riveted.

I recently saw the new Twister movie with my wife. It is a good movie. In my opinion the original is better, but this one is a very close second. The plot in the movie is very good. Also this movie has some historical references. It references cloud seeding that was done in the 1960's to weaken hurricanes and tornadoes it did not work in real life and it was scrapped. The last bit references the EF5 El Reno tornado. This was a real life EF5 tornado that decimated the town of El Reno Oklahoma.

The last movie I watched was Spider-Man 3. While it's definitely not as good as 1 and 2, it has its moments. It gave us Bully Maguire after all, so that's gotta count for something. All jokes aside though, I think the casting for Eddie Brock and Sandman was perfect, it's just a shame that the storylines and relationships between Peter, Harry, and Mary Jane were rushed and forced, which led to Spider-Man 3 being a convoluted mess of a movie.

While box office success isn't necessarily a metric I use to judge the quality of a movie, I was surprised to find out that Spider-Man 3 was the highest grossing movie of the trilogy, raking in almost $900 million dollars. Wow, lol.

I watched Transformers One last night and thoroughly enjoyed it despite not being all that interested when I saw the first movie trailer. What changed my mind was the high audience ratings and the praise it received from different Youtubers and TF fans that went to see the movie.

I figured it was a short movie being slightly under 2 hours and since my brother and I were both bored that evening, I decided to pirate it. We both really enjoyed it, especially when it started to pick up towards the middle. I think it's a shame the movie didn't do as well as it should've at the box office. Admittedly, when I saw the first trailer, I thought it would be too goofy and not at all for longtime TF fans. After seeing enough positive reception, I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. Easily my favorite movie of 2024.

The last movie that I saw was Interstellar in theaters. I could have seen it at a few different theaters in IMAX where there were seats available but I waited a week until I could get a seat at a 70MM IMAX showing and it was worth it 100%, still my favorite movie of all time.

The last movie I saw was Hoop Dreams, a Documentary about two inner-city Chicago Students, and their dream of playing in the NBA.

It's an outstanding documentary, and it's one of the best I have seen all year.

Fun Fact: one of the students in the documentary, Arthur Agee, went to the college I'm currently attending from 91-93 and played for the Cardinals basketball team.

The last movie I watched was Disney's Atlantis (2001), a movie I only saw once shortly after it came out. I was too young to remember it all that well, so seeing it again about 20 years later was like watching it for the first time. Really miss this era of Disney movies, seems like they're just creatively bankrupt these days and only churn out garbage.

The last movie I watched was Hercules. For some reason I was really wanting to hear James Woods as Hades again. He did an incredible job in that role.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3. It's a very good and funny movie; I really enjoyed it. The way the story was, and the plot, made it so good, and I can't wait for Sonic the Hedgehog 4, but it sadly comes in 2027, in two years, but I can wait. I've been waiting for FFVIIRR for almost a year.

I didn't catch it from the very beginning, but I watched most of Wreck it Ralph 2 after dinner earlier today. I think I saw it once shortly after it came out, but one thing I found funny was how they kinda did Merida from Brave dirty by making her speak in a super thick Scottish accent that I guarantee almost no one understood watching it in theaters the first time around. Even hearing it again now, I had to watch a YT short that broke down exactly what she said and what it meant to fully understand it, lol.

The last movie I watched was Treasure Planet, a movie I hadn't seen in over 10 years. As we were scrolling through Disney+ looking for something to watch, I suggested Treasure Planet and he ended up really enjoying it. I love the steampunk aesthetic and really wish Disney experimented with making more movies like this instead of done to death princess stuff all the time.

The last movie that I saw was Se7en. It was back in theaters and showing in IMAX so I went to see it yesterday before work. I've never seen it, having only seen a clip of the very end, so it was a brand new experience for me and I thought it was pretty cool.

I was a bit bored during the first 30 or so minutes but it really picked up at the halfway point.

I watched A Bug's Life on Disney+ a few hours ago. After seeing Bug's Life, Lion King, Tarzan, and Beauty and the Beast all very recently, I'd forgotten that this was the era of gruesome villain deaths, lol. I don't really keep up with modern Disney/Pixar stuff, but I certainly can't imagine modern Disney villains are getting choked to death from jungle vines or thrown off cliffs into fire, lol.

I last saw Sonic The Hedgehog 3 with my family and I thought it was really good and the best of the 3 by far and I already really like 2, I felt like it really embraced the series at a level the other 2 hadn't so that really pushed it over the top for me but I wouldn't be shocked if some people liked 2 more than 3.

I saw the first hour of Doctor Strange while eating dinner earlier today. Even though Doctor Strange is one of my favorite characters in the MCU, I've only seen his movie once or twice shortly after it came out, so it was nice to experience it again. I'll most likely enjoy the second half of the movie sometime tomorrow evening if I'm not too busy with other things.

The last movie I saw was The Hunchback of Notre Dame. It had been a long time since I saw that movie and I forgot what a good portion of it was like for some reason (must not have stood out as a kid or something). In recent years I kept seeing youtube videos about Disney villains and kept seeing Frollo at or near the top so I gave watched it again and yeah, that movie is dark and I'm honestly shocked Disney got away with a G rating on that one.

Well Saturday Night hit streaming, it's really good it's a shame no one saw it in it's theatrical release, it's about the 90 minutes before Saturday Night Live's first episode (it's not something I would recommend for the under 18 crowd) and now I kind of want to see a similar movie but with the Muppets before it's first show at the theatre
