Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - The Manhattan Project is a fun game to play on the NES.  It sure has great levels and 4 ninja turtles that you can choose to be.  When I tried this game, it was really good for an NES game.  I thought it was going to be one of those games that were impossible to beat, but no, it is just right.  The best thing about this is the 4 ninja turtles, like I said, and you can choose either one of them.

Graphics - 9

The graphics are well-made for an NES game.  It sure has awesome effects too.  Pretty much the same quality in effects, so I am guessing that it acts like an arcade game.

Sound - 9

The sound is good quality.  It has perfect songs in every level.  The sound effects are amazing!  They should have put a saying on some turtles like "Kowabunga" (I do not know how to spell that lol), so instead, they just move on the the next level.

Addictiveness - 5

It is a 50/50 chance that I would play this game again.  It is fun, but on the other hand it is an NES game and it is quite difficult.  I probably would play it more if I was playing with a friend or someone.  I prefer playing with someone in this game cause it is really helpful when you are facing a bunch of enemies.

Story - 7

The story is okay.  I get how something bad happens with the turtles and it is up to them to fix the problem.  I think that the story is just like the ones from the first and second games on the NES.

Depth - 7

The game is pretty big.  Lots of levels and great combos to do. The thing about this one is that you cannot get items and do special moves like on the Genesis or SNES consoles.  All you can do is jump and hit in this game and get health items that are randomly in the game.

Difficulty - 7

The game is pretty hard.  I lost 2 lives in the first level.  To be good at this, you need to dodge their every move.  Another thing is when you have one enemy on one side of you and the other on the other side attacking you.  You just have to jump and get out of that position.  I get tired of the enemies that can throw things at you and some that can hit farther.

Wrap Things Up...

TMNT - The Manhattan Project on the NES is a great way of not being bored.  2-player is in this game (if you didn't know) and it really helps.  I recommend trying this game out, it sure is fun if you are a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan and that you enjoy playing arcade-like games.
