Is this The Blob that had a scene where someone got pulled by the blob into the piping under a sink?
If it is, that movie TERRIFIED me when I was a kid, keep in mind that pretty much everything scared me then. Now I can watch practically any movie with nothing to be scared about, but The Blob gave me nightmares and made me afraid to shower or use a sink for weeks.
