Time for ANOTHER Castlevania Review....jessh this is my second Castlevania review in a row and coming off Super Castlevania IV(which I Declared the Greatest game of all time by the way) And going onto Simon's Quest? Well, Castlevania II Is not THAT Bad...its just flawed.....nearly all games have flaws. Look at Ocarina of Time one of THE Most critically acclaimed games of ALL TIME It has flaws( The market scene is blurry) Castlevania II Has it's fare share of flaws but that does not dieter from it's awesomeness. If you have the Spare 500 Wii Points...go to your Wii Shop Channel and give it a try....it's a flawed game sure but it ain't ASSSS(Like a certain Nintendo Nerd said)

GRAPHICS: The scrolling is good and the animations are good....though that said the game looks depressing and the animations on monsters get repetitous.....even the original Castlevania had way better graphics

SOUND: One of the all time greats,Castlevania II Has one of the NES'S Best soundtracks to date...of course the track that stands out above all of the rest is the truly Awesome: Bloody Tears. Better than any other NES Castlevania even the almighty Castlevania III : Dracula's Curse

ADDICTIVENESS: Not the most addicting game in the world...but I Do play it from Time to time....RPG Styled games are meant to pull you in for long times but this...just fails miserably...Castlevania was meant to be a linear game from the start.

STORY: One year after his demise, the ever alive count Dracula laid a curse on the man who vanquished him,Simon Belmont. After returning from Aeon's time rift( Castlevania Judgement,Wii 2009) Simon was told that a curse was laid on him by the Count and that he had to burn Dracula's remains to rid of him for good.

DEPTH: As an RPG With a lot Of(but useless) NPC's Simons Quest is Satisfactory but there's not alot to do after you vanquish Dracula so the game loses a few vital points...

DIFFICULTY: Don't look into the Death Star or else you will die....what the poop? This game has ridiculous jumps,is cryptic as the insides of an Xbox and is brutal during the night parts. Bosses are hilariously easy though

OVERALL: Simon's Quest like Zelda II Was a sequel so it's good for Konami to experiment and learn from their mistakes. I actually think that this game is the yardstick for all future Castlevania's. I Give Castlevania II: Simon's Quest a 7.9/10
