I named my surfing Pokemon Moat (inspired by galaga, he named his Boat)

I don't name them........I've only had 1 HM slave ever and his name was Tropius.

I have never actually had a playthrough of the games where I used HM slaves, I never went back to make a team without them, I keep their names, I never give nicknames.

Slave. I like to keep it short and simple.

I don't name mine at all. I just use no clipping to walk through such things like cuttable trees, surfable water, waterfalls and whirlpools.


Call me a cheater, but I don't like the idea of having to play with a gimped team because I need to have a pokemon on my team with weaker skills then normal. Just unfun for me. I want to play the game with the team I want. I DO however catch a pokemon and teach them said moves. I just pretend I have them with me, without taking up a pokemon slot, if that makes sense. These pokemon that I teach moves to remain unchanged. In fact I never nickname any of my pokemon that I use. I do make their names smaller cased though. For example: "PIKACHU" would be "Pikachu".


On a side note, I will get Rocksmash, and strength on a pokemon and bring them with me usually. These are puzzles and are part of the actual game play most of the time. And Rocksmash has rewards for smashing rocks.

I don't use HM slaves.

I had an HM slave it's name is Mew. Can learn any move so it is my main choice for HM skills.

I hardly nickname my Pokemon. But I one I named WORKWORKWO because that's all that would fit. xP

Mew has bad stats, but due to the fact it can learn anything, it's a good Pokemon.
You shouldn't use it as a HM slave.

Galacta : I already figured out how to get 2 Mews in the game so even though I use one for HM skills I have a backup to use as an offensive Pokémon. The guy with the Slowpoke and the trainer in the Cerulean Gym that has a Shellder yield a Mew when I use the Mew glitch so I end up with 2 Mews not one.

The closest thing i had were raticade(which i names radication) and a furret(which i named furry) but i used them though the game

I don't name my Pokemon,My HM slave was Linoone.

Well, I named my first ever Pokémon (a Bulbasaur in FireRed) "Jorge".

Ever since that day, my starter mons get the name "JORGE" to distinguish them from the original.

I have a variety of names for different Pokemon. It depends on the appearance and the first thought that comes to mind to determine the Pokemon's nickname. For instance, I named Pikachu in Pokemon Yellow Rat because it looks like a mouse, but I wanted to name it Rat.

I named My jynx Carrie because it is blond and has psychic powers like the horror movie "Carrie"

I have nicknamed my Wigglytuff Powerhouse before because it was really powerful and hard to take down
