I love the Vizzed community, it is a wonderful place to share and there are a dedicated core of users who really make this place alive and I smile each time I read their posts and threads, there are also some new members whose contributions also raise a smile and some cheer.

But I am not sure that Vizzed feels exactly the same for me at the moment, it may be due to the fact that due to the attacks and that I could not log onto Vizzed on many occassions possibly also due to server load that I felt a little cut off.

I continue to read all the responces to my threads, thank you, thank you, thank you all those that contribute, but which way is Vizzed going? do you think that we still get the same quality of input that we used to have? in fact does any one have any data that as many posts are being made as they were in the post and how many users that join actually contribute to Vizzed board rather than solely play games and watch toons?

and thank you David for alyour hard work in keeping Vizzed going, what would we do without you....

Well I don't know if the server is still going through fixes from the attacks but I know it's hard to load a page. Most the time I have to try to reload the page multiple times before I get to it. I know it's not my computer, because other websites work fine for me.

Other than that I see that we are coming back to the way things were before the attacks, each day I see more posts and more people in the chat room at night. It will take time, but I'm sure we aren't going down the tubes here!

I think David is doing a super job in keeping the site alive, I have seen many awsome sites go down in flames after such attacks or failures in finance. Thank you David for all your hard work, and thank you all who have helped either coding wise or financial wise or just emotional support~

I think Vizzed is doing just fine. I think it's going in the right direction but I think the attitude of a lot of people has gone downhill and I don't think these attacks are helping.

Vizzed is a great place. It attracts a wide range of people to the site.

The problem I see right now is a problem of attitude. People think because Vizzed is on the internet that they should be allowed to just do whatever they want. Vizzed is a family friendly site and it's going to remain that way. If that means we lose a few people here and there who want a more "adult" site that is fine by me. There are places to be adults and places to be kids. This is a video gaming site, there is little "adult" about that.

geeogree : Couldn't agree more. In the end, when you boil it down to it, this is a kid's site, and the adults are here because they have a little kid inside of them.

I love this place personally, I'm happy with the direction, I'm happy with the hard work everyone puts into the place. The only issue is attitude like geeo said, unfortunately, you can't change their views.

There's not a whole lot to say about it really, this place is great, and the people are awesome. I don't see what would cause people to think otherwise if they care about the games.

Yeah, there may be some bugs in the site, but other than that, vizzed is going great.

...who in a what now? i've been playing so much pokefarm lately... although i did see the attacks. vizzed haz lost some of its charm for me.

Before getting right into my opinion, I should at least acknowledge that I do not know as much about this site and its people as much as others. After all, I have only been here for four months.

To start with, I agree with geeogree that Vizzed is headed in the right direction. This is a kid's site because we want to be family friendly. Now the fact is, I personally want it this way. I am sick of seeing how inappropriate other popular sites are because of "adult topics" --yes, I am 21 years old if you have not noticed. I will admit that some of the posts these younger members make bug me a bit (being that they may not be very detailed or even completely off topic), but I can set those feelings aside.

It is true that, because of these attacks, I have to hit the back button and reload the page every so often. I can deal with that. This website is working off of donations and volunteers; not from advertisements and paid staff.

Now I did state before that Vizzed already made a positive impact on me. I feel I need to say how it has done so. Multiple times, I have stepped forward and stated my opinions on a hot topic to people who more than likely disagree with me completely. At other websites, I usually just get a reply that simply tries to prove how wrong I am and may not be the most respectful. Here, the people I have talked to have shown the utmost respect for me and my beliefs. I was losing hope of meeting anyone who could truly respect differences.

Now, about the number of people contributing to the Vizzed Board I doubt I have the best answer but here goes nothing. Like many of the users here, I found this place only because I was looking for the games. The message board had little, if anything, to do with it. However, after I registered, I immediately made my introductory post. I decided to do some browsing through the boards and I quickly became more and more interested in posting --and I know for a fact that I spend more time on the boards than the RGR and RTR. I have seen some people make their introductory posts in the newbie thread after playing in the game room for months beforehand. Who knows. Maybe when someone new has been shown this website and decides to register, that person will instead take to the boards instead of the games first. I do not know; everyone is different. What I do know is that with the number of people registering, more people will join the boards. It may just take more time than we think.

Vizzed is really AWESOME the way it is! The people in this site are really AWESOME just like legacy said! And they have all the retro games which we all love!

sure there have been some attacks but there's no doubt that vizzed will go back to normal very soon and because if this we got better security too and we learn from our mistakes

This site is great no matter what happens to it. Yeah the attitudes these misbehaving children on here is not great. It could even cause problems in the future. I've been watching too and go into the chatroom where some of the people on there really haves a dirty mouth so I avoid going in there most of the time.

Vizzed Board is going into the right direction and David is doing a fantastic job with this site. I wouldn't want it in any other way. Once I get me a decent job with a decent pay and my own place. I wouldn't mind contributing here on Vizzed. I want this place to stay alive as long as possible and I'm sure there's others too that wants this site to keep going.

The only thing that I would like to see a change here. Though it's far fetched, but it doesn't help to dream. Lol. It would be nice to be able to install some type of security program to monitor the behavior not just in the forums and post because Dave and the mods can see that themselves, but to monitor the IMs. Yes they could always report they are being harassed in the IMs, but most of them does it themselves as well.

I enjoy this site 100%. This site is the best website I've ever been to. you can't make me leave it (unless I get kicked out). But, this place bring sooooo many old memories, good times, and fun back from the past.

I think that Vizzed is going at a pace that is definitely a good one as a branch off Acmlm. The family friendly site ideal is appealing and it allows a great place to relax and make friends. I am perfectly fine with the direction Vizzed is heading in (except for the attacks of course), but even so, the attacks may in the end be beneficial, because it will never work in the future. I hope that this site never gives up and continues to give games and entertainment for years to come.

As far as I can see, the community is basically the same, and David is doing great work especially concerning the recent attacks. I have noticed a slight lag in activity due to the end of school exams, but members are always coming and going. The attacks were a crappy situation but they do not change my opinion about the community in general. From what I've heard, and seen, this site has been through some major changes and drama before, and it's still going- It's nothing new.

Overall, I do not feel any different about Vizzed in the past few months. It seems the same to me; I still enjoy Vizzed just as much.

Hate to break it to you but that is not true. Without advertisements this site would probably be in the gutter right now (not completely but it would probably be similar to the 08 version of vizzed with no RGR). Donations alone could not make up for the server fees for this site unless Vizzed starts getting $600 + a month in donations to pay for servers. Even if Vizzed got $600 in donations to pay for servers David would be making zero profit if he had no ads. He has a family to feed so don't get the wrong impression that this is only a site run on donations and volunteers. Sure donations help, but the main life line is the advertisements that is what supports most of what you see today.

As for the direction of Vizzed... nothing has really changed since 08. The biggest change was back in 08 when Vizzed started a RGR. From 08 and on its the direction of the users and staff that changes Vizzed. Vizzed just has to adapt to the users is all since it now has 100,000 people to make happy compared to 2000.

People come, people go. I "meet" some interesting folks on here every so often. That's been pretty consistent. Am I happy with Vizzed? Yes, yes I am. I like it here very much. I may leave for a while, but I always come back.

Actually, no I am not. The moderators on here feel they can act towards anybody the way they want. They treat some people on here like second-class members and that they are above the guidelines. It seems that the mods believe they can act like jerks and be rude in chat, and generally flame, but not suffer any consequences.
It's wrong when the people that are in power on here believe that they are above the rules laid down for everyone else.
I do not make comments on what I think about people on here and the mod shouldn't make comments on anyone.

i think its running fine except the mods except a few they think they can do whatever they want on chat i also hate the people who break the rules and post stupid porn the attacks are bad i think its cause the hackers want the games for themselves this is a kids site im a kid everyone has the kid inside them but there are some people who think the site is for adults only ITS FUN TO CHAT WITH PEOPLE AND THE GAMES ARE FUN SO THATS IT (sorry for the caps i accedently hit the caps lock button)

My goal has always been to keep this place family friendly. I myself hate being part of forums where you feel like you're on alert the entire time you're there, if you mess up or say 1 stupid thing, you've got tons of people attacking you and criticizing you.

The attacks forced vizzed to take a few steps back but now we're stepping forward again and I think things are mostly back to normal. It really is great to have so much support though, it's this loyal community which motivates me to continue working on vizzed full time. There are some people who complain but there's far more people who show appreciation and it's great to see hard work go rewarded and respected
