This is a thread where you can talk how you hate Mario Kart Wii Wifi hackers. I hate having to deal with the millions of spiny shells! But, I want to hear your opinion, what's your view of the hacking on Mario kart wii, or any other form of wii game being hacked into.

Speedic : to be honest hacking only bothers me if it affects other people, e.g hacking an online game or a website i would happily knock said persons teeth out, however if they were hacking only offline or for private games only i wouldnt mind, thats rarely the case though.It is irrating for example that on the ps3 i had to install a 100mb patch aimed at stopping people hacking there ps3's, that really annoyed me because i never hacked mine yet these gits were causing both my time and backing storage to be wasted, so yes, to an extent it can annoy me.

thenumberone : yeah, i just hate how the races there will take 5 times longer to complete, just because of these hackers! For example, to see the effects, type on youtube " Mario Kart wii Wifi races Hacker" You'll see the terror of these hackers.


p.s. Nintendo hates hackers most because they tap into the wii system, and steal information. (rumers say that xbox did this to get the "Kenect" thing)

If you mean cheating to get the upperhand on other player then no I don't like it but if it's hacking MK Wii track to make it different and creative then I'm all for it.

Speedic : Throwing a bunch of spiny shells is cheating, we both hate that so we have that in common. I don't approve of cheaters in online competition but if they do so on their own, independently, playing by themselves then it's okay.

I don't like hackers period. I think that they should just be happy with what they have and not ruin the game for everyone else. Learn to play the game and you might actually enjoy yourself with out pissing people off.

Yes I do. I would get pissed off when I am the best out of all the others online and a hacker comes in and uses super speed to beat me. I played two hackers online in Mario Kart Wii and one of them would have super speed and the other would have invincible star power. What sucks is that he would just come to me and just stay near me so I would get hit and would never be able to drive. I came in last place because of them. That was the worst match I have ever been had in my life.

I play Tetris DS online and people hack that all the time. Namely, they make it so that they always get L blocks. But if I ever see that, I just disconnect and look for another person.

Most of the hackers I see in Mario Kart Wii just sit there and lose, and since they always have 9999vr or 9999br, it's easy points for everyone else. I've never run into a hacker that tries to win with cheats, but it would bother me then. I've heard stories about people that get attacked by infinity shells or someone that used constant lightning. Now that's got to be annoying!

I could care less if there was someone editing what items they get in online matches or whatever, crying about it makes you look butthurt.
On the other hand, if there the hacker(s) had hacked my account and stolen hard earned items or details, then yes, I would be pissed off.
