Metroid M was fun until I hit a glitch. I'm not sure if it is possible to beat this game. I really would like to see someone beat it, if at all possible.
The graphics were just as good as the original with slight screen malfunctions, up until the glitch. It's 8-bit entertainment, what more graphics can you ask for?
The sound was just the same as the original, no new bleeps or bloops, or new epic Metroid music.
The story didn't change either. The original Metroid doesn't go into great detail in the first game story line anyway. If you've been a fan of the game you know the story and it hasn't changed in Metroid M. You land on the Planet Zebes, get the morph ball, bombs, jumping boots, missiles, kill Kraid and then... Well, I'm not sure I hit the glitch. So that answers the depth of the game also.
I am interested in knowing if anyone can beat it. I was pretty far into the game, it wasn't extremely difficult with save states. The real challenge is beating it without save states just like the original if you want it to be more difficult.
