I have a passion. I love art. It took me a semester away from art for me to realize how much I missed and loved it. All I do in most of my classes is draw. However, I also pay attention. Drawing helps me focus (plus practice). Writing notes doesn't really help me much. I excel when I just focus on listening to the lecture and allow the large concepts to resonate while I draw. But I digress...

A passion is something that you love and have a strong interest in. Do you have anything like that?

Margoth : Start small. Are you enrolled in a university? Take animation classes. If not, then look for a college for that. Find someone in that field to help you out or something.

Margoth : Glad to have helped man. I realized that I wanted to be an artist, specifically a painter, when I drew a gift for my friend for Valentine's Day. I felt so good making it and I felt good afterwards. My Mom even said that I have a talent and that I should go for it.

I actually have another friend who wants to be an animator. He only began making animations rather recently, but he's come a long way.

My ideal job is hard. Many people told me that I should have stuck in my old major (justice studies) because it will put food on the table. However, I realized that I really didn't like justice studies. I didn't like my fellow classmates who would likely become the future cops and lawyers of America. I wasn't like them. It didn't feel right from the beginning. Once I realized that, I was finally happy and I was able to actually enjoy college.

I consider drawing to be my passion like many people as well. But I'm also enjoy doing flash animations and drawing things out of real life. I want to go somewhere with my art rather than just doodle on all of my school note books(when I should be taking notes I am usually just doodling on vital pages instead) and letting my drawing history end after high school or college. But I'm guessing that I won't have time to doodle during college lectures and I will probably have to spend my time in there taking notes seriously. But I am applying to Art schools and my hope is that I will get accepted to Cal Arts. That's my passionate goal.
