There's a tiki bar I used to go to called La Mariana. The tsunami destroyed it last week so it's gone forever.

That being said, Irifune in Honolulu is my favorite local place. It's a Hawaiian/Japanese fusion type place with a really eclectic decorating style. If you ever go to Hawaii, go there. The garlic ahi is to kill for.

hmm I'd probably have to go with this nice Mexican restaurant that's not too far away. It's called the Hacienda. It's a great place. I highly recommend it.

My favorite would probably have to be Silver Diner. They make it feel your in the 1950/60's. They even have a jukebox where you can pick old songs and play them.

Back in California I had so many... though the raining kings were Rockbottom Brewery, Deli News Pizza, New Miyako's, and Curry House. There is a Rockbottom down in Pittsburgh, but it is not as good as the one back in Long Beach (they have a way better brewer, the guy here is too new). Of the places that I have discovered so far I really like Primanti Bros and Garfield's Restaurant & Pub. I have barely been here four months though, so who knows what else I will find.

... oh yeah, and there is this really good Indian place down in Cranberry... I forget the name, but I enjoyed it when we checked it out.
