Christopher Lee and Morgan Freeman are tied for first as far as male actors go. Both of them are too beastly to be given second place.
(Seriously, google Christopher Lee. He is a boss.)

As for female actor I'd have to say Dorothy Comingore.  I gained ultimate respect for her when she did a scene in Citizen Kane where she was wearing absolutely no makeup.   There were bags under her eyes, wrinkles on her face, and all that good stuff. Very few actresses nowadays would do that. If any.

I can't really choose between Robert Downey Jr. and Johnny Depp.

I loved Robert Downey Jr. for his roles in both Sherlock Holmes movies (which I think are my favorite movies ever) and all the Iron Man movies and the Avengers movie. I just really like his acting style.

I just recently saw Johnny Depp in the Lone Ranger. Of course it was a really good movie. My favorite movies with him are the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I have been watching him ever since Edward Scissorhands in 1990 (another good movie). I've also seen him in the Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Dark Shadows, The Tourist, Public Enemies, and a bunch of others I can't think of right now.
