I only play recreationally sometimes. I was never very good as basketball. If I got choosen to play in a pick up game, it was mostly for my ability to create assists.

the_casualty : Well, I used to play Basket Ball three years ago. I'll tell you my Basket Ball history! November 2010, My mom took me on SportsVille, there is tons of activities like football, basketball, tennis etc... My mom registered me BasketBall. I tried it and I dislike it and she was like "I know you dislike it but it's because it is your first time. You'll get better, I know it!" Well after a few weeks, I started to love basketball! I said it's not bad at all! I ended in June 2011. I ended because my coach, one of the strongest basketball player left SportsVille, I got sad and didn't played BasketBall for three years I guess? My mom decided to register me again in BasketBall on another place but friendly ! And this month or in August !

No I don't play basketball, I could probably be okay with my height since I am 6'1" but that isn't the problem, I don't play it competitively, plus I don't think it would be a sport that suits me, there is a lot of contact and it is pretty physical, the only physical sport I like is lacrosse, but other than that I only like swimming, archery and track/cross country if you consider those sports. 


I don't really watch basketball either to be honest...It has never particularly interested me...its funny because 2 of my close friends play basketball on the JV team and they are both pretty good. Overall, I have the height at least, but not the skill needed to do well. 

I play Basketball. I'm not that tall, as I'm between 5'7 and 5'9, but compared to most people where I live, it is quite tall, so I usually have an advantage. I don't play it competitively, I just play it as a hobby.
In the high school I'm going to, there is a Basketball team, so I would like to join, but it's not a high priority nor anything.

Overall, I wouldn't say that I was a big fan of Basketball in the first place, but I did play a little bit of Basketball for a semester. Not saying I was good, either, but I tried it out. Didn't last, though.

I was forced to play basketball once that I can recall and I HATED it.  I really did. I'm such a clutz anyways, and making me shoot at a basket and follow rules I don't know or understand?  Aie aie aie!

Here where I live, basketball is a way more popular and followed sport than football.  Every year, the teachers will hold a 'game' for the kids as a fundraiser.  Some teachers will dress up as basketball players and play the game; some teachers will dress up as cheerleaders and cheer the team on... etc.  It's meant to be funny, and EVERY year I've been asked to play the game.  I've always declined, and one year I had to be one of the 'dance girls' instead. I totally regretted it, but I still think I would have preferred it to playing the game.

I don't understand any sports, but basketball is probably one of the games I understand the least, even though I'm pretty sure it's not all that complicated. lol

I'm below average at it, I play shooting guard, I probably need to get in shape if I wanna get better But I still love doing regardless.

I love playing basketball I never was very good and competly failed when I tried out for the team back when I was in High School (ended up playing tennis) but I still play for fun fast forward past my high school school days I've gotten a little bit better still not the best but its still a fun hobby to do
