I think I'd take a generator which runs off solar and wind power. A Nintendo DS. And a box. With every Pokemon game ever made inside it. Good to go, you can ship me to a deserted island anytime as long as I have these.

So you'd get both solids and liquids from eating, especially if you're eating something like a melon. I'd probably go crazy if I were alone. Be nice to be abandoned with someone else.
